Yeah, it should be this month. With All I Want coming out, though, I hope they don't continue on some Crazy Taxi theme and delay it a year.

It will come out in sync with the Ten CD re-release. I just hope we'll be able to download the Best Buy exclusive tracks too.

Funny you should say that AoE, as I just did this (after owning the game for a long time), and I couldn't agree more.

Well.

I have counted on the Joystiq commenters to make me laugh for a while now, but you sir. I was nearly escorted off of the premises because my co-workers thought I finally cracked.

Im pretty excited about it myself. It's of my favirote tracks from then. I am hoping for more from "The Rise and Fall of Grace"

Also I don't know what is up with Zoot Suit Jedi but don't let him and his spas-tasic posting ability ruin your DLC.

It's awesome there are so many offspring songs in RB.

I heard an Offspring song on the radio the other day (Annie are you doing ok I think it's called) and I seriously thought it was a Weird Al song. The singer's voice has gotten so nasaly plus the song was so ridiculously contrived I thought it had to be a parody. I was wrong.

^ That was Alien Ant Farm's cover of Michael Jackson's "Smooth Criminal" - almost 100% sure of this one.

@ 343:

Now I'm really hoping you are joking. Don't try and identify songs you don't know and judge them, because that was wayy off. I think you are talking about Alien Ant Farm's cover of Michael Jackson's "Smooth Criminal."

You fail at trolling

And yes, it was Alien Ant Farm. The song is called Smooth Criminal (Michael Jackson cover). It's the same band that does Movies ("and just like the movie we play out our last kiss")

But The Kids Aren't Alright is the probably best Offspring song you can put in Rock Band since it's excellent on guitar and drums. The vocals are popular meaning you can play it with friends while the bass is slight above average.

@ 343

A little off on the song title, but dead on in your review --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tAxEAPkxZTg

It's called "Kristy, Are You Doing Okay?" to the dude's above me, and yes, it sucks.

Love to see more Offspring.

And seriously, what's with the literal semantic interpretations around here? I'm sure that the guy didn't mean that if Rolling Stone was putting out a list of greatest bands of all time that they would put the Offspring anywhere on that list (much less #1), it was just a way of saying that they're his favorite band.

It's the same thing as when you first play a new awesome game or try a new awesome food you're like "OMG THIS IS THE BEST SHIT EVAR!!!" without actually meaning that if you had to choose one and only one thing to own out of all the things in the world that that would be your choice.

Yeesh.

Ok, so it's called 'Kristy are you doing ok?' and I thought it was the silliest song I've heard in a while. I mean, Offspring were ok in 1996 or so, but this song was just laughable. Seriously, I can't stop thinking of Weird Al when I hear it.

but that's the thing. it's not an offspring song, so no need to bring it up. i like the offspring so i'll get that and losing my religion is an awesome song. so thats coming to my RB2 library too. i'm happy.

Losing My Religion bleh....i think i'd prefer just about any other song from the R.E.M. catalog first. It's a nice enough song but it's just insanely played out....i'm sick of it. Last R.E.M. concert I went to I went to the restroom while they played it..that's how sick of it I am. And yet I have to buy it just to encourage Harmonix to release more R.E.M.

Don't hate on Losing My Religion...it could be worse...it could have been Shiny Happy People.

I would have liked to have seen Stand, Drive, or What's the Frequency, Kenneth? - all would have been good guitar songs.

I keep thinking that yea, RBF would be awesome.

But then I think, a lot of their sound is based on their brassiness, and you can't play those instruments in Rock Band.

Then I also think they'll probably go for their newer stuff, which isn't nearly as good as their first couple albums.

But if they do release tracks from Turn the Radio Off, hell yea I'm there.

Also would like to see more Bosstones.

Hell, i traveled from CT to CA last year to go see them in San Diego. Well worth it.

Is it just me, or is the audio track from The Kids Aren't Alright youtube video actually the CD release audio? It sounds way too polished. After hearing the lead singer fail to hit notes in All I Want, I somehow doubt his ability to stay so intonated.
