Umbrella Chronicles 2 is what we're going to get.Capcom has been very lazy of late and that shows with Chop til' you suck.Dissapointing but true.

RE 2-3 remakes, using RE4 wii edition controls.

Only two things would make me happy.

1) Resident Evil Outbreak remake. (I seriously do want this, I missed out on it on the PS2 but it seemed like it had potential, who agrees?)

2) Resident Evil 2 Remake.

Either one would make me happy as a clam, because I know for sure they won't put any real effort into an original RE game for the Wii (the bastards)

Don't get me wrong though, if I were certain their original effort would be of high calibre, then obviously I would be for it.

But I find myself doubting that.

So this Biohazard 0 remake, I missed something here...

OK, I'm back. Sorry, was just checking out some YouTube videos of this Biohazard 0 remake. If that's all they do... it looks like you guys aren't missing much... I think even with the frozen camera angles, they could have done better... Implementation of motion controls seem incredibly forced as well as sparse, and it doesn't look like you use the infrared for any aiming whatsoever.

If they remade Resident Evil 2 on the 0/1 engine, I'm sure it would be no less than awesome, but I'd rather play it with a classic controller.

Now, if they remade one of the classic games with the RE4 Wii engine... I might actually pee my pants a little. I really like the action of the newer style RE games, but I think the old classic storyline, with the T/G virus, destroys the new parasite-and-cult story. Owns it like a noob.

Either way, I have RE5 reserved. I'll be interested to hear the news Capcom brings. If it's not another rails shooter, I'll be happy to give them more of my money.

Capcom's been so hit or miss lately, especially with the Wii. I would have speculated shantae 2 if not for Wayforwards hands being so full, and the fact that at this point they'll probably just self publish it.

RE4 on the Wii was my favorite gaming experience in a while. Umbrella Chronicals was ok. I would indeed be very happy to get any kind of RE game with the RE4 control scheme. I might rent UC2 if that is the big news.

Resident Evil super party all play

If Capcom can squeeze Dead Rising into Wii they can make a port of Resident Evil 5. Even if they make a sequel to Umbrella Chronicles I would be happy. It's great to see Capcom support Wii.

I'm thinking either a Resident Evil 2 remake, or a spin-off that uses RE4 controls that is important to the cannon (like Code Veronica).

It´s Resident Evil 5 for Wii. The guy give a hint saying the game was made for the PS3 and Xbox 360 also.

I'll take every remake with RE4 controls over another rail shooter or a downgraded RE5 with PS2 graphics.

Maybe Capcom kills two birds with one stone and releases RE5 as a a dreadful looking rail shooter on Wii? Make it happen!

RE5. If its a new game, i'm going to cry. Wish they ported RE4 to Xbox Original all those years ago.... Gamecube/Wii seems to be the platform to own if your a RE fan (like me) which sucks. :x

Here's to hoping that Capcom will do the smart thing add Dead Space controls. But it is capcom we're dealing with here.

Not a port of 5, even if they did do one, i don't think it would be so soon after the other game. They wouldn't want to give multiplatform owners any reason to divert their attention from the significantly more expensive PS360 game (as there are probably quite a few who would jump on a Wii version, simply for the controls)

2 or 3 total remake would make the most sense, but i have a feeling its going to be something original.

I'm hoping for an original sidestory using the RE4 engine and controls. For an added bonus, it would be nice if it had a bit more of a focus on puzzles/exploration and a bit less on action. But 'more like RE4' would be good too so whatever.

Other possibilities: remakes of the older games, fine - but only if those are remakes using the RE4 engine, not the 'didn't bother changing anything' Japan-only remakes. Don't think this is likely though - if they were busy making proper remakes of the old games, they wouldn't be turning out those half-arsed rereleases in Japan.

UC2, yeah maybe, I'd probably get it, another rail shooter is not exactly an enthralling prospect though. I don't think they'd do this though; maybe they'd alternate between 'real RE' and 'rail shooter' on Wii, but to *only* do rail shooters? Surely not.

RE5 port, really doubt it. If it is though, I hope RE5 doesn't have any scenes that display hundreds of zombies onscreen at once...

During the last ten minutes of this week's IGN Nintendo podcast one of the hosts mentioned hearing a rumour about a Resident Evil 2 remake. Those guys have a lot of inside information so that might have been an unintentional slip.
