If you haven't already guessed by the circus train of trailers that surfaced today, last night's episode of GameTrailers TV provided a cornucopia of previews for a number of hotly anticipated games and DLC expansions. First on the docket is an interview with Bethesda's Todd Howard, who in addition to revealing a self-surgery minigame that didn't quite make it to the retail version of Fallout 3, gives a few details regarding the upcoming The Pitt expansion, and promises a new trailer for the DLC in the next installment of GTTV.
Next, Todd Hollenshead, CEO of id Software, shows off carpocalypse sim Rage, and gives a few scant details on the next Doom title (shockingly, it will be like the last three). Also, High Voltage's Eric Nofsinger drops a few factoids about The Conduit, and the first footage of Call of Duty: World at War's new maps sees the light of day. There's something for everyone -- especially the ladies, courtesy of a sizable dose of Keighley.

Rage seems like a GREAT idea. Here's hoping the execution is just as good. And boom blox is one of the few non-Mario/Zelda/Smash Bros. Wii games that actually caught my interest since the Wii came out. The new Cod:W@W maps look good but probably won't be enough to pull me away from Killzone 2...

Those World At War maps look pretty nice. I might just have to get those when they drop. That Conduit footage was, well, uh really underwhelming.

Do we know if these new CoD maps will also be available for Wii users?

Nintendo really HAS to address the storage woes in their next console. I want to see 200gb upgradable HDD capacity and GC/Saturn/Dreamcast games on the VC. No point having the best console FPS controls, then no DLC for it. Cod:WaW is great on the Wii but i'd love to see DLC.

After recently finishing the main quest on Fallout 3 and left with a considerable amount of things to do in Fallout 3. I've come to the conclusion. That Fallout 3 is one of the greatest games of this generation. Certainly it was the best game of 08. I don't care what anyone says. This game delivers so much that you can play it for years and still not see everything.

When did Keighly become such a douche? Oh right, when someone decided to put a camera in front of his face

Moptimus,
Why did you have to show me that video??!?!?
I really hope they will let me use the classic controller instead of the Wii mote. The only things I worry about with this game are that 1. it might get old rather quickly and 2. getting bouts of nausea from the visual style. It looks pretty fun. I can only play Killzone 2 for 4 hours max before getting nausea from something in the visual style (I think it's the motion blur).
I tell you man there is no middle ground with the Wii ... Your either collecting star bits and feeding them to a cute, chubby lil star or throwing a pumpkin on a mummy's head and throwing it in a tank of man eating amazon fish. Forget Resident Evil 5 ... madoworld is the new survival horror ... hee hee

I want to know what the have planned for Doom4.
For some strange reason I have the hope that it'll be something that evolves the series... i miss Doom2 so much... i wish they could capture it's feeling in a new game
