Does anybody actually think Digital Unrest is funny, ever?

The latest batch has been subpar, but it has had good runs in the past.

Yeah, I would have to say, as lame as my comic for the week was: (mercilessly plugged and submitted to joystiq @ http://alsobagels.com/comicpages/unfertalizeddevotion.htm, with general silence being the response) it was at least remotely funnier than digital Unrest and a few of the other nom nom nominees...

"lame"...
"remotely funnier"...

I spoke these words upon my high horse of bragidocia, scoffing at the fact that ANY other excuse for a webcomic could possibly be considered next to-

YEEeah, anyway, I was simply comparing it to Digital Unrest's. I thought PA's was good, and I actually liked Hyper Combo Finish's previous comic "Exit 2 Haiku" much better than their selected one. but hey, there's high weeks and low weeks.

I read your comic bagels. it wasn't very funny. so I read past strips to see if there were any gems and found a lot of horrible punch lines that could have easily been delivered by different characters in the strip. Just because bagel is the main character doesn't mean he always has to get the good lines.

So basically when there was a joke, which was rare, it was pulled off poorly creating a disconnect between you and the reader.

And none of 'em are game related, so stop plugging them on the W.W.W.

I don't find DU funny so much as i find it consistent. It's drawn 'well enough' and even if it fails to inspire laughter, I usually know what the artist thought was going to be funny.

End of the day: there are much less interesting, much more poorly drawn entries on WWW on a regular basis

I like this week's hypercombofinish, even though the website is painfully pretentious.

It reminds me of when I used to play Earthbound on SNES. I'd be halfway around the world and make the trek all the way back to Onett. My mom would make me some NACHOS and tell me to get some rest. It was comforting, somehow.

PA. Seriously... it's idiotic how they'll slap "game" on something and expect gamers to buy it. Game mouse and keyboards, normally, when a simple Internet mouse is good enough, but razors? That's stepping over a boundary.

There is actually a razor for that?

About the gaming mouses /mice? well you see the Ms Game mouse is actually great and the macros buttons help a lot with Copy / paste stuff,it also makes reloading in Gears of War Pc easier.

Gaming keyboards have also some good functions.
