OMG HE'S SO HOT !!!!!!!!

Yeah that's some good eye candy there ;) I'm not so sure though that he's such a good fit since he isn't "Persian". I don't mind the man-candy and all but why can't hollywood attempt to make it so that ethnic characters are played by "ethnic" actors who actually fit the part. I've seen so many independent foreign films with Persian and East Indian actors who could totally pull off being the Prince of Persia AND act! I like Jake as an actor but the look is just wrong. And I'm sure we're going to have to endure some fake or feigned accent to a certain degree we'll have to wait and see. It is what it is. There has yet to be a good adaptation of a videogame story done for the silver screen. If that ever happens I'll be amazed.

He's a pretty good actor as evident in Brokeback and Zodiac and I guess he's got the look. But like other people said it would be nice if ethnic actors were cast. It would be cool if they found some persian unknown actor for the part.

Being Persian/Iranian myself, I know a hell of a lot of people from that area of the world. None are that white. (Except me, but my mother's American). They could have done better, or at least given him a tan...

As said before, he looks too nice. I could never take him seriously in the role because of that.


As I always say "they should have just cast Johnny Depp". That man can play anything. And he has tan skin, so win-win.
