Jim Sonzero, the cinematic director who worked on soon-to-be-released Resident Evil 5 told MTV that he's in talks with Capcom to develop a live-action film based on one of the company's properties. No young upstart, Sonzero has worked on commercials and a feature film, Wes Craven's Pulse (presumably, Jim Sonzero's Pulse lacked a little marquee punch).
Sonzero's not talking specific IPs, so we'll leave it to you in the comments to speculate. Here, we'll start. Vin Diesel + blue armor + an arm that is a gun = box office gold.

The movie should be Phoenix Wright related. I'd watch it.

I just hope the voice acting isn't the same as Resident Evil 1 standards...

Live-action why?
I would think that perhaps these people who worked on cut scenes would do better at making an animated film with life like scenes that they do in the games. Those can be just as good, and emotional if done right. Why they always try to go for live-action is beyond me.

I'm totally going to rent Wes Craven's Pulse. I'm fully expecting it to be a movie that sees the horror legend running around the block for 90 minutes, only pausing periodically to hold his fingers to his neck and look at his watch.
If that's not the film I get, I will see the makers of this movie in court. And then I'll place an excited phone call to Mr. Craven with a pitch he can't refuse.

He made Pulse......ok...I dunno know...the movie was ok...but mainly because producers helped ruin it and he didnt write it.
Btw, for those who didnt see it, it had Kristen Bell and Christina Millian( two hot girls) and a plot about ghosts coming into our world through technology...oh and it's a remake of an crappy asian horror movie. Check out the Unrated version if u wanna check it cuz I heard the version that came out in theaters was so horrible it gave Cursed a run for his money.
