The Behemoth has announced that it's ready to unveil a trailer for its third game on March 18, "just a few days before" the Tokyo Anime Fair. The latest post on the company blog informs that several of the developers are going to the Tokyo Anime Fair on March 20-21 and will showcase Alien Hominid, Castle Crashers and "an uber-early version of Game #3." So, if you're in Tokyo, would you kindly upload any gameplay video you capture to YouTube?
As an amuse bouche, The Behemoth also showed off an image from the new game (pictured). Early idea on a name: The Crying Sugar Cube Leprechaun vs. The Helghast.

Dude, I moved away from all my old roomies a cuppla weeks after this dropped, which is unfortunate because we enjoyed playing this together. They released a multiplayer game, that was absolutely crippled in the online department.
It's one of the big factors in my game buying now, I wish I could kick one of these guys straight in the dick.
Shame, dirty, SHAME.

You say that like it's the developer's fault. They had a patch correcting these mistakes fairly early in, it just took Microsoft forever to approve it. Also, if you ask around here, I'm sure most would tell you they've had very positive experiences with the game and still like it enough to play it.

An industry insider told me (over XBL chat) that the six months was due to The Behemoth's poor quality of the patch, not Microsoft's slow speed. Apparently Bethemoth had to submit the patch multiple times before they got it right.

Looking forward to this. Been a huge fan of the last 2 games despite the bugs. They're so much fun to play. Still have trouble finding a game on XBL though for Castle Crashers.

Maybe it's another art swap clone, like Alien Hominid was to Metal Slug?

I think what someone else said in the other thread about it maybe being a homage to oldschool platformers, in the same way Alien Hominid and Castle Crashers were to oldschool shooters and beat em ups, sounds possible. Especially considering the inclusion of that incredibly Sonic-like emerald...
If it has wall-jumping I'm sold!

Whatever it is, I hope it's awesome.
As for the platform type game, seems really plausible and it makes sense.
Also, in the background of that screenshot it looks as though there are many evil looking robots (or something) with hats.... one of the hats has what appears to be a "M" just like Mario. :)
I could be reading way to into this... or not.

I don't see any Ms? Are you talking about just to the left of the cash register in the bottom right corner, because that sort of looks like an M, but I'm pretty sure it's just the horns of the robots in front.
But yeah, the large army of robotic enemies reminds me of Sonic too... If only they were shaped like insects/animals, then I'd be absolutely certain...

"The Crying Sugar Cube Leprechaun vs. The Helghast."
PSN game confirmed!
Just kidding. But I hope they at least go cross-platform on the two losing consoles. Everyone should get a chance to play their games. I dunno about you guys, but I've never had more fun being on the losing side... Well, I do have a Wii, but it's collecting a healthy layer of dust.

Enough with the collecting dust phrase. What, are you picking up your other systems and shaking it until the disk comes out, or do you keep sending your 360 back, not giving it a chance to "collect dust".

Alright, admit it.
You all would like to play a game called "The Crying Sugar Cube Leprechaun vs. The Helghast."
