Early PS2? I don't think so.

The art style reminds me of a cross between that of WoW and Kameo, personally. This is what Home should've been.

I'd be all for having an MMO ___in___ Home. Or anything to do in Home, really...

Andrew exactly what was the point in trying to compare this to home? To me it just seems like another poor attempt at taking a cheap shot at home.

I'm growing incredibly tired of the WoW color pallet. One game with that look is enough. You can have family friendly without ripping off Night Elf Purple and Thorny Orc Green.

@ schabalabadingding

or not.

Maybe for some people they will use this over home, but its goal isnt what home's goal is nor is it trying to be.

Not everyone is into that color scheme or type of gameplay.

So if you like it, go for it, but if I had to choose, it would be Home for what it is, not this.

I don't see why people would play this game on a ps3, honestly. This is the kind of game that I would expect for a casual person looking for some free fun on their PC. With all the other options of great ps3 games to play, why would someone pick a free MMO that would probably play better on their computer?

I don't know why people are comparing this too home since this a game and home isn't. Also I don't think it looks like WoW at all, especially when almost all MMO's have similar styles. If anything this game has a similar art direction to 'Medievil', Now that was a fun game.

well why would people get on home for the ps3? when they can go chat with people on their pc? the ps3 has lots of casual fans. you can compare it to home because its a free ap that you can go talk to people and play mini games. it's not a game per-say. just like home isnt a game.

Re: the PC vs. ps3 for casual games - I'm inclined to believe that's exactly the point. As SOE tries more and more to make the ps3 an overall entertainment center, why not give people the option to play a free MMO on their ps3, rather than send them back to their PC?

The Playstation 3 realy need to get mmorpg games for the system, Free Realms look's fun tho I would like a more "adult" game in the future.

A new Everquest mmorpg game for the PS3 would blow my mind..
