I've purchased three of those 100 million-plus units: the Electric Blue DS Phat for my brother-in-law in August 2006 along with New Super Mario Bros. for his birthday, an Onyx DS Lite in October 2006 when I couldn't stand spending whole afternoons coverting media for the PSP (and playing my brother-in-law's New Super Mario Bros.), and recently a replacement Onyx DS Lite because of the previous one's cracked hinge. I preordered the DSi, but I'm trying to move this year and may have to cancel it.

Besides, I (and many, many others) are in no hurry for the DSi. Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars, Suikoden Tierkreis, Trackmania DS, Pokemon Platinum, Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume, SaGa 2, Blood of Buhamut, Phantasy Star Zero, Steal Princess, a Tales game - don't stop the rockin'!

I do wish Sony would take some notes from Nintendo and learn that even though it's cool to have powerful hardware with multiple features, it's the software that sells the system. Imagine the many more beautiful games using that high-res display if Sony would curb their "more is more" philosophy. If Sony would allow more portable-compatible games instead of just console ports, THEN we would have a system. The PSP isn't bad at all, but Sony needs to readjust their mindset to expand it beyond the tech-trendy, hardcore gamer a little more.
