I'm tired of the US getting all the good XBLM content, I say we should go on strike! I wouldn't mind some gumballs and Bennigan's coupons anyway.

Being Canadian I feel we get the shaft when it comes to the content available for xbox live.

Shit, they decide to give us their own series 'The Guild' for free, and the region locks on at least 4 epidodes in the middle of season two won't let us watch them because I'm outside of the USA.

Outside of that, I can't understand why we pay MORE for xbox live and get a far inferior experience to that of our neighbours to the south.

I've tried emailing the folks at xbox live regarding this and got shitty canned responses about how region locking is coming into effect in 2007 and just a total lack of support for the canadian market in general.

When my xbl subscription runs out on saturday, I don't think I'll bother renewing for awhile.
Maybe one day if enough of us stop paying they'll reduce the price or add some sort of value into the deal for us canucks.

Paying for or not paying for an XBL subscription really doesn't matter, as that's for playing online and getting early access to new demos. XBLM is open to everyone.

I understand it's more expensive in Canada for Gold but that price doesn't equate to things that are available to everyone for free.

Or you can surf to http://www.southparkstudios.com/episodes/ and watch online for free. It's the official website so it's legal too.

Does HD really make a difference for a show like South Park?

I just read that netflix is getting south park videos via streaming. Don't know if they are HD, but they should be included in your monthly subscription fee ($8.95 and up level I believe).

I like the legal, free online streaming version though. That sounds even better!
