Hmm, see, this is one of those cases where you didn't really need to read the post. Fable II is definitely getting more DLC and here's all we know about it, just in from our friends at Lionhead:
"Will there be any more DLC for Fable II? The answer is quite simple: 'Yes'."
That's like, the whole thing. There's more DLC, it's in the works, confirmed. But hey, maybe you can nab one of 20 Knothole Island NXE Theme codes they posted, if you're quick enough. See, aren't you glad you read the post now? Yeah, we thought so.

What are people's opinions on Knothole Island? I'm debating whether to buy it or not.

It was fun, about 1-2 hours to do the 3 quests then a couple more hours getting all the stuff from the box of secrets.
The best though is
*SPOILER*
Getting your dog back

Well obviously if you didn't enjoy the main game, felt it was lacking, etc, then the DLC isn't going to be worth your time.
But yeah, if you enjoyed the game, the DLC is a lot of fun. There's a lot of cool things to mess around with, and although the actual quest isn't particularly long, you do get a lot of neat items, weapons and clothing from it.
I think it's best if you start a new file play through the new quests bit by bit as they unlock. That way you get the most out of the new equipment.

@The Dom: Worst spoiler tag ever! And, I don't see the need for including spoilers in the discussion.

Knothole Island was pretty good. But after I finished it, the game froze during a save and corrupted my save file. Now I have to start the game over again.

Who are you people that aren't at work and can plug in these codes right now? Get jobs you bums!
Anyway, this is really awesome news, hope to hear soon about the release date. The source article is definitely a good read, as is the link for the achievment awards.
How many people here actually got the dollcatcher anyway?

I love Fable II, and new DLC is exciting, BUT...How about someone get onto fixing the game-breaking bug that makes my Bowerstone Market a laggy glitchfest?!
I'd much rather have that fixed than get new DLC that I won't be able to enjoy anyway.

I'm still waiting for the Lady Gray (I think it's called Love Hurts) quest to be fixed. Funny how I can do everything the guy who starts it asks me to, but as soon as I return with the last part, he stands there like a lump and I can't interact with him at all. As soon as I leave his place, he tries to start the quest over again.

Wow I feel like I just instigated an AA-type meeting.
"I'm Saria and I have Fable II glitch problems."
"Hi, Saria!"

Hmmm,
I was actually planning on trading this game in to go towards RE5. The first dlc was a lot of fun if not short. I've been spoiled by the GTA4 dlc and the bar it set when it comes to content.

Well, more DLC rather than a sequel is definitely good news.
And the fact we have guys like Jonathon Ross doing voice overs, I'm hoping that means this content is going to be slightly larger than Knothole, which was cool, but it'd be nice to see new story stuff added.

I really liked Fable 2 but after finishing most of the game provided on the disc, I felt no need to get the new DLC... maybe this one will be different...
