I don't see why publishers bother speaking to the press, especially when they're the quality of Ransom-Wiley. Has he ever bothered posting anything that isn't a negative, sniping remark? Worst Joystiq employee without a doubt.

As someone who greatly appreciates quality sarcasm, I enjoy what he writes. I also like it when people call out bullshit when it needs to be called out.

I sure don't like whiners though, specially when Mr. Ransom-Wiley did not make you click on his article and read it, then comment on it.

If I hired people to do a job and they weren't doing it well I'd probably cancel the work they were doing as well.

Is anyone actually interested in a remake of Splatterhouse to really care?

What's a Splatterhouse? Is that like a brothel that specializes in bukkake?

I was gonna make a joke how if it specialized in bukkake it would be a BROthel until i realized that's how it's spelled anyway

This is why you outsource development to 3rd party studios. Don't like what they're doing? Kill it and leave them hanging, and you get off scot-free. You have to be responsible for wholly-owned studios, even when they underperform.

The more I look at that screenshot, the worse it looks. Maybe Namco was right.

I have to go with Namco on this. Looking at that screenshot, at every little piece of media we've seen on the game since it came out, I have to agree. Do we really want another remake a la last year's Goldenaxe?

quite interesting...

I wonder how many witty remarks we would get if

Activision pulled the plug on Treyarch and used the same reasons as Namco for "not meeting standards".

I think Treyarch now knows that there games have to be of a high standard, COD:WaW was actually really fun and almost at the same level as COD4.
