We don't do that here. I'll be polite.

These screenshots actually look good to me, looks appropriate and reminds me of the ol' toys I had as a youngan. Kinda look like some good ol' pew pew action figure scenes.

Of course, what I'd really prefer is just a facelift on the NES version, man I loved that game.

Dude, Marlon Wayans is going to be a rum swilling Captain Morgan in a skin tight suit. That right there makes the movie Oscar material.

You do know that GI Joe is no longer a 'real American hero', right? The America-haters in Hollywood can't stand that, so they made it a force unit under 'international command'. Which is just as dumb as making Superman stop fighting for the 'American way' in Superman Returns (but that was a generally offensive metrosexualization of the character so there's more to complain about).

Hey tampon (can't really call you douche, can I?) try and keep your politics out of a thread for once, eh tampon?

Altho this comment of yours gave me chuckles:

"Liking Alec Baldwin and Tina Fey is like a signpost for being an unfunny, smug, liberal douchebag. Kind of like those 'HOPE' bumper stickers."

Just for the most part you sound like a tampon with a chip on your shoulder.

GI Joe would not approve.

Speaking of which:

Ok making Superman an amercian hero is wrong but making him a son of a b*tch that left Louis Lane alone with a kid is okay? Superman reruns sucked balls.

What's up with the lack of morals in movies these days? And hell is a recurring theme it seems every movie nowadays wants to be a clon of sin city either that or another idiotic teenage movie.

Let me clear things up:

In Sin city it worked because it supposed to be like that but it also shows there are good people like the cop that saved the girl.So is a really good contrast between good and evil but in moves like superman returns it has no place.

Seriusly you can't make a hero of someone who abandoned his kids.

Sin city was awesome.

GI Joe fucking loves Alec Baldwin and Tina Fey. Although I do agree that GI JOE should have stayed an American hero, it's not because of politics there's two reasons. One is it's just so much of the GI Joe stuff is just overly patriotic silliness, and the second is that GI is a term only the US military uses

and third its exactly the kind of Team America crap that the rest of the world hates anyway... they should have kept him as american because no-one else cares.
Then we could have enjoyed it by laughing at it.

I notice the bad guy seems to be british again? yay!

You're preaching to the wrong crowd man. We know they suck and we know why they suck. But there are so many casual players out there who just don't give a crap, they enjoy the games more because they are tied in.

I fail to see how he is equipped to survive this battle.

GI JOE kicked butt because it had the best toys and Sgt Slaughter would tell you to stay tuned. And 2 ninjas: SnakeEyes and StormShadow. Gotta love that. Everyone loves a Ninja. Except for the families of the victims of Ninja attacks. They're not pleased.

Dang; the old recap of the Joe arcade game I did way back in college for Yojoe.com got linked to on Joystiq. I guess I should be honored. I just checked out that game in MAME the other week with the new computer I just built. Hasn't aged quite as well as the Capcom one.
