It's at a decent enough price for the content. However I don't know whether or not the casual audience will play the game as it's meant to be played (almost daily). I've purchased the game+microphone bundle at $70.00 USD and didn't really enjoy it, but for $30.00 sans mike it makes more sense. Both of my (grown) sisters enjoy it though so that's something. Still, I could see the game sell out.

And it's true that Tom Nook is the creepiest mobster imaginable. Seriously. Owing 124,000 bells after upgrading my house ONCE caused me to stop playing...

I really wish I wanted this game. Still, I guess it's not for me really. I have Wild World.
It's interesting that you stopped playing because you owed money Wolfcoyote. Most people I know stopped because they weren't in debt any more.

I got this for my brother when it came out for $50. I regret it a bit because he doesn't play it as much as I thought he would. He's more into the DS one, but that's probably because we play together sometimes and the Wii version doesn't have much to offer that the DS version doesn't have. The city is nice and all, but I found the gameplay too repetitive on the DS version, so playing it again on the Wii isn't really enticing.
