"You don't play just any Big Daddy in BioShock 2. You play the first ever."

Game Informer's BioShock 2 cover story is slowly making their way to subscribers, and the real details are far more exciting than the fantasy. Players take control of the very first Big Daddy, and will be able to use plasmids while still donning its iconic drill. Your quest will have you confronting other Big Daddies and a familiar moral dilemma: do you harvest the Little Sisters or do you adopt them?

Fontaine scary son of a bitch, but Ryan cheap son of a bitch. You can no reuse protector suit. Take a man, graft skin and organs straight into suit, otherwise suit not work. Ryan say Big Daddy too expensive. Ryan can go suck egg.

This post reminds me of the journal entries you find in the Resident Evil games where the author is slowly turning into a zombie as his grammar and spelling slowly deteriorate into incomprehensible gibberish.....

In a nutshell, what I said was "First Big Daddy does not need to be like the ones that came after, he might be more humanish, considering that he might be a prototype. That said, those footprints on the teaser site might be from him instead of the Big Sister, so you can't just hate the game based on two lines of confirmation and a lot of speculation about gameplay which you know naught. In order words, calm the eff down"

I think the cutting off has to do with the carrot brackets. people have had problems with those in the past when they say they heart something.

HOLY CRAP! When is this coming out? Its like a cross between a rosie and a bouncer but with less armor so you can prob run faster, and this time we get to use his drill! Omg I think I just had a panic attack.

That's the Big Sister, who is the antagonist of the game.

Not to sound like a jerk Cian but i never actually read that the Big Sister was the antagonist, after reading what was on the Somethinginthesea.com website, it said the Big Daddy moved like a ballerina dancer, and whoever wrote it also thought it might be in fact a girl in the armor. To me I thought that it may be the Big Sister in the Big daddy suit. Just a thought

This isn't a spoiler, all we know is you play the first big daddy, information that would come out in the first trailer(confuse this with teaser and i'll kill you).

im pretty sure you wouldve heard it elsewhere on forums or other news sites eventually sometime before the game comes out.

this game is going to be expected as another Game of the Year, so be prepared for a lot more spoilers than this.

No, I'm saying it's not a spoiler because they directly reported this information to the press. This isn't stuff we learned from a low quality youtube video of questionable source. Heh, I posted something about this somewhere else yesterday. As I said yesterday, its pretty cool. Another thing is that it looks a bit odd, like a bunch of pipes wilted together.

If you save them, do they go in your basket on your back? and if so, when you get 8, do you get Octomom plasmid powerup?

where's the wii version? surely the wii can handle this simple game with simple graphics.

The first few details of this game make me scream "DO NOT WANT".

For some reason I feel that when you get to the scuba part you you will have to do something that scars your forever or maybe not be able to take the suit off.

Anyone who thinks this is going to be a soulless, empty cash-in must not have played System Shock 2. I pity them.

The idea sounds interesting. I just hope the execution will be better executed than those few levels in Bioshock 1 where you had to play as a Big Daddy. That part was my least favorite.

The game original is great and I look forward to more details that are actually solid before I am willing to commit any final opinions about whether it will be good or bad. I am sure 2K will make more details known as time to push the game comes. I hope that all in all it does not follow the trend of attaching a 2 to the name and becoming a monumental stinker, but, considering the gaming success that Bioshock presented, I believe that more content in this story will be GOOD content.

I'm thinking you'll be a human before the original takes place. You get turned into a big dad, then you do shit as big dad after the original takes place. So it's like a prequel and a sequel. Sounds great to me. I'll trust them not to fuck up my favorite game. But if they do, I'll burn down their building.

Just because you have a drill doesn't mean that you will be able to use other weapons.

Go to Game Informer's site.They state not to believe all you read on the internet,which should be the case anyway.They say there are inaccuracies but don't elaborate.Just wait for the magazine to make any judgments on when and what takes place in the game.

All of this is an April Fool's Joke.

A couple thing (for those who haven't actually read the article). There may be some spoilers here for those who haven't finished the first game.

The game is not a prequel, it is a sequel. The article talks about the surface-dweller taking the Little Sisters away, and the Big Sister (the thing on the cover) kidnapping girls from the coast and bringing them back to Rapture to be little sisters. It also talks about the Big Sister being a former Little Sister.

Also, you do use plasmids and tonics, though there is an ability to combine some of them (the example they used was combining the cyclone trap with fire), and upgrading some plasmids gives new abilities.

I don't know how this is going to work, with it being the first Big Daddy and the game being based after the first one, but I am assuming that maybe the first Big Daddy had been put to sleep and got awakened some time in the last 10 years or something.

You guys really need to read the magazine. It explains alot and you have to remember that there is alot of time to develop the story further. As for me ill be sitting at the store waiting for the first Bioshock 2 to hit shelves.
