Wallace and Gromit dated March 24, demo on March 16
Telltale Games has stepped forth and dropped the knowledge. Said knowledge is a March 24 release date for the PC version of its upcoming episodic series Wallace & Gromit's Grand Adventures. If that sounds like too long to wait, know that a demo of the game will arrive on March 16 exclusively on Yahoo! Games. As if that weren't enough, Telltale has revealed that those who pre-order the title will receive a full episode of both Sam & Max and Strong Bad's CG4AP. The episodes, if you're curious, are "Ice Station Santa" from Sam & Max and "Dangeresque 3: The Criminal Projective" for Strong Bad. On top of all that, there's even a new trailer of the game in action.
Watch the digital claymation goodness after the break.

A thousand apologies, good sir!

A demo in three days? Sweet!

Oh, and after watching the trailer, I am quite impressed at how closely the animation in the game seems to mirror the animation from the actual stop-motion animation. Good job Telltale!
But one question - why doesn't your game engine support shadows? If these renders had some soft shadows applied, it'd look pretty much identical to the real thing. Surely the Xbox is up to the task, and the geometry looks simple enough. So... why?

But, when does it come out for the 360?

No Sallis = No deal.
HPGR_Thrawn @ Mar 13th 2009 10:55PM
Totally agree. Without Peter Sallis doing the voice of Wallace, there's just something missing.
Veotax @ Mar 14th 2009 2:46PM
The man is 88 years old. Just one episode of the series probably contains more lines for Wallace than the movie did (what with him probably being the character that'll lead the conversations and give item descriptions.
I'm willing to cut him some slack for not feeling up to doing that much voice acting.

If there was any IP which suited point-and-click gameplay the most, this has to be it.

Something about them being made out of virtual clay saddens me.
