Thanks, nutman. I checked the screenshots and it looks like one of the ugliest games I've ever seen. Pretty sad. I'll keep an eye out for Degeneration, though. Give me a good enough game and I'll buy an iTouch. I still want to see more Capcom staples on the PSP, though. The capabilities of the iPhone seem to be a lot lower- either that or the expectations are...

Not sure what your talking about, some iphone games are as fun as any psp or ds game, the touchscreen works as good as actual buttons sometimes but you arent used to it. and developers are making plenty of money which is why we are seeing so many games like metal gear being announced.

It's a phone, so right off the bat, in my life, the PSP and the DS don't compete AT ALL any longer because they aren't telephones. They have been outdated in my life as I don't want to carry anything more than my wallet, keys, camera and phone. The games on the iPhone have been adequate substitute for the games I played occasionally on the DS, and the iPhone games continue to increase in quality and numbers. So get on board and enjoy yourself. Or maybe it really is beyond you.

What is the pleasure you people have with acting like there aren't good games on the iPhone? Or that it can't be a gaming platform? Who cares? If you don't like the platform, the adult thing to do is not buy one, and don't pester those who own the thing and don't object to new things coming out for it.

If anything, I wish joystiq would devote more coverage to iPhone games so people like you guys would know a little more about what's happening on the platform. Instead, I have to post a link like www.toucharcade.com and hope that you go take a look.

Otherwise, guys, I just can't help you. You will continue to hate and I will continue to have fun.

lil trooper, like i said - i have an iPhone, i know what it offers, i have spent quite a bit on the games and other applications, i think it is a great device. However, i don't think anyone should be comparing them to the DS and PSP as a gaming device.

ill trooper, your youtube link does not do what you think it does. It does however show that you are clearly new to portable gaming. Now have fun with your downrank-clear-cookies-and-repeat game.

Same with the Wii? Hah burn!!!!
