"Set in 3100 AD, Merchants of Brooklyn: M.O.B. challenges gamers to plunge themselves in a futuristic world that confronts mankind's ancient past with its technological future as cloned Neanderthals walk the planet again."

Day 1 purchase for... um, someone, not me. But likely someone, out there, I guess...

You know, I thought Chinatown Wars was going to be horrible for the longest time, but after hearing a lot of good things about it and the fact that it actually looks really good in motion, my interest is piqued. I still probably won't buy it, but I'll be interested in seeing sale numbers.

Chinatown Wars is super-fucking-awesome. I bought it at GameStop without even knowing it wasn't released yet (srsly) and already have 25h of gameplay in my stats.

I'm not sure why so many people were initially so resistant to the idea of a GTA game on the DS. It's done in the style of the original two games, which were great, but with proper cut-scenes and a decent camera angle.

I've been looking forward to it since it was announced, and it's just been looking better and better. Have to wait until the 20th to play it over here though.

I would have been interested in Hasbro Family Game Night.. but having to pay 800 points for each of the individual games is a bit much.

COMPLETELY UNRELATED POST:

I was just told by a Xbox Live representative that after my 360 was stolen, they would not let me redownload anything that I already paid for onto my new machine. To be fair, I didn't understand everything she said because of her accent, so I'll try again and see if I get a different person, but meanwhile, does anyone have experience with this?

And how does Sony handle this type of situation? Because if Microsoft is going to play it like that, I may just find myself the owner of a Playstation 3 very shortly.

Don't own a 360 so I never had the chance to get it stolen. As for PS3, your downloads are tied to your PSN ID, so you can log in on any PS3, go to the PS Store, and redownload your purchases from your download history. I think there might be a limit on the number of times you can do that though.

i'm sure there will be a way to get your stuff back if you talk to the right people. on the ps3 you just sign in, go to the psn in the xmb. under account management you can redownload games from there. it works on up to five machines

On the PS3, you can download the game for like 3 machines i think, as long as they are installed on the same PSN id. The only thing that will happen is that after the 3rd machine, the game gets blocked and you have to delete it from a machine, or something like that.

Can't be 100% sure, but I think a gamertag recover followed by using the license migration should do the trick. http://www.xbox.com/en-US/support/systemuse/xbox360/licensemigration/

Good luck to ya

If you can recover your gamertag, you'll be fine. Everything will still be tied to your account. If you can't get that back though, I'm afraid you're screwed.

Hey Anam,
sorry for being curt or sounding like a dick in general (because I am a dick in general), but is it really too much to ask for one to make a quick 4 second search online rather than asking random online people - in a unrelated comment thread - to write abbreviated/less detailed walkthroughs of somewhat complicated tasks?

Recover gamertag from the Guide menu (and do this soon so that the thief won't be able to use your account to buy stuff, especially if you have a credit card stored to your account).

Then go to xbox website to transfer all licenses to new account.

Then go to xbox, account, download history and redownload everything you want (it's all in there).

Transfer licesnses first because otherwise you might have to redownload everything again.

No, it's not too much to ask me to take 4 seconds to look it up in Google. So forgive me for wasting 2 seconds of your time that it took to read my question. And I see why it was completely necessary for you to post two comments, one with a link and both longer than mine to inform me of how wasteful my comment was.

Anyway, all sarcasm aside, I agree that it was silly for me to ask the question rather than just looking it up (and incidentally, I found the answer on the Xbox site moments after asking it).

And thanks again everyone.

@Zod: What are you doing wasting your time HERE when you could be having the time of your sarcastic life at http://answers.yahoo.com/ ?

@Anam: I see no reason for you to apologize for asking that kind of question. People who don't give a crap should just scroll past if they don't care to answer, and people who will give a crap will help you out. No skin off anyone's back.

I've already ordered Track Mania DS. It's looks like it fits most of what I use the DS for...quick and simple games to spend 10 minutes on.

I want GTA DS as well, but when I buy those long games for the DS I generally never get close to getting through them.

Also I went to OMG! High school, our mascot was a brats doll. When we weren't busy sexting each other or beating down our friends to post videos of it on youtube we found time to play some Wii .

man, DS has a great week with absolutely nothing on the other consoles.

On DS you've got: GTA, Valkyrie Profile, Henry Hattsworth, and if you're into it, Suikoden.

I haven't bought a DS game since Fire Emblem so I might have to look into these.

Also picking up Henry Hatsworth, if only because it'll be one of those super rare games that up my nerd cred. It also looks fun and has been getting great reviews.
