I spend so much money on PSN, xbox live has some great games but the only games i have had any interest in, besides castle crashers and braid are remakes - they're good, but i much prefer the great variety on PSN.

This is one place on the playstation network where sony has surprised me, i fully expected microsoft to live up to their word of "Digital distribution is the next big thing" but i actually think sony are going about this in a much better a way, a way that is slowly getting the consumers used to it.

Though, i do think microsoft have done more than enough with things like the GTA4 DLC, Portal still alive etc.

xbox live definitely has one up on psn with the exclusive dlc that it keeps on nabbing (GTA4, Fallout 3, etc.). however, all these small indie-type games on psn shouldn't be discounted, and is what keeps me coming back for more! Noby Noby Boy, Flower, the PixelJunk series of games, the list goes on and on for psn! the only small dev game on xbox live that i'm lusting after is braid; i'm hoping for that "possible" release on psn!

Xbox marketplace hasn't one-upped PSN. They have stregths and weknesses. PSN has a ton of great downloadable games, and xbox has a couple along with the exclusive DLC that they stole from an entire platform of gamers' hands. Exclusive DLC is BS, though I can't say I wouldn't buy it if it were the other way around.

I'm bitter because I want the pit -_-

They need demos on PSN, though. The descriptions for all the games just don't tell you anything if you don't already know something about the game. XBLA games have demos, I'd probably buy more unknown PSN games if I could try them first.

yeah i agree but to be honest some games dont need a demo like noby noby boy i mean for $5 you can't go wrong at that price.but on the other hand i would like a demo for games like flower because im in 2 minds about getting it.

I agree about the Demo's

The first thing I did when I purchased my PS3 was download practically every demo on the PSN

Because of the Demo's, I bought PixelJunkie's Eden, Lemmings, and a few other ones... I think free demo's are great, drives me insane when i only have 10 minutes of gameplay, or only 1 level i can play... so i go out and buy it :)

I hope Creat makes a vertically-scrolling shooter, a bit like Blazing Lazers, Ikaruga, or Soldier Blade (and not so much like 1942). We could use a good VSS on the PSN. The Wii has tons of them (VC, and one for WiiWare) and the 360 has a few I think, as well.

I think the key thing missing from PSN is the ability to start an audio chat at the XMB level and keep that chat open across games like on XBL... this is where PSN really falls short.

Cross-game chat is really the only 'big' thing the XMB/PS3 is missing. Otherwise, I prefer it over XBL in every way. I hope Sony can find a way to implement it soon.

I've.... never heard of them nor any of their games before. Does this make me a bad person?
