Major Nelson has posted Xbox Live activity for the week of March 9. Not much has changed from last week, with Halo 3 still occupying the top spot closely followed by both Call of Duty: World at War and Call of Duty 4. Rounding out the top five are Gears of War 2 and GTAIV in the fourth and fifth spots, respectively.
Resident Evil 5 debuted at number six -- an impressive feat considering it released on a Friday -- pushing Halo Wars to the seventh slot. In turn, Left 4 Dead dropped from seven to eight, followed by FIFA 09 and Street Fighter IV at nine and ten. With versus DLC headed to Resident Evil 5, it will be interesting to watch its Live performance in the coming weeks.
Peggle, unsurprisingly, was the most purchased Xbox Live Arcade game of the week. You should try it. It's harmless, we promise.

if anything, this game will drop a few spots. in case you forgot, everybody hates capcom right now after screwing us over. this game will never be a multiplayer powerhouse

Yeah there's no way this stays in the top 10 for very long. Even with the DLC, it's lacking enough online features to keep it up there for the long haul.

@pete
...and after the price goes down they lose money on the development, causing the budget for the next iteration to be drastically lower due to them being worried about not profiting. capcom then releases re:6 which is actually just re:5 with a new campaign and we have to suffer through playing a re-hash, greatly disappointing the gaming community.
think long term man, we dont want that.

Peggle is just so awesome, yet so simple. Really puts the term "complexity" to shame.

Nice to see that this is up there. I don't expect it to stay THAT long however since its mainly a single-player or co-op game. I doubt their inclusion of a multiplayer mode is going to do too much.
Great game, one of the best looking games this generation I would argue but its not something like Halo 3, or COD that you are going to go back to every single day over and over again.

It kind of is if your interested in getting a lot of achievements. You'll have to play over and over again to get points, money, etc. I know I plan on playing the shit out of this game. It's gonna be oh so sweet with unlimited ammo...

Not that surprising. Merceneries co-op mode is a shit load of fun. I actually like it more than the singleplayer.

I think people fail to realize that the DLC is in fact being released in Japan for half the amount we are paying for, and it has a solid release date rather than the "few weeks" we were given (of course I'm talking about NA). I personally will give this one some time and wait for the enivitable drop in price (aka free) before I even remotely think about getting this. No thanks, co-op is fine for me.
