When I was in high school, I played this game every day at a local arcade.
I offered to buy it from the arcade's owner, and he said he'd sell it to me for $600. Well, I said no way.
The sad part is that I easily spent $1000 in quarters playing it in the ensuing years.

$30 sounds like the sweet spot for this too. Will probably pick this up. I was just starting to get a shmup itch again, as they've dried up on XBLA.

Sweet, now CAVE just needs to stop being assholes and release start releasing their bullet hell shooters outside of Japan.(and if they don't wanna release outside of Japan, PS3 version will do, I'll import)
Also, anyone wanna give me a cheap arcade stick so I don't have to suffer though using the 360's dpad like I did with Triggerheart and Ikaruga?

I actually had this game on a PC compilation disc called "The Handpicked Software" (back in like 1999, Windows 98) which had a ton of games like Raiden Fighters, Jazz Jackrabit, Doom, etc... I loved the Raiden Fighters game on there, hours of just good old fun.
