One of the PS3 highlights of last year's GDC for PS3 was the unveiling of the third PixelJunk title, PixelJunk Eden, during Dylan Cuthbert's post-mortem of the first two games in the series. This year Cuthbert is set to return and unveil the latest PixelJunk project, according to a press invitation to the PlayStation Blog Lounge. Not only that but there will be hands-on time for those who attend.
We know that the fourth game in the series won't be PixelJunk Dungeons, which was also vaguely mentioned back at GDC 2008, as it requires more development time. At this point we really have no idea what PixelJunk 4 could be but, after our experiences with Monsters and Eden, we can't wait to find out next Thursday.
[UPDATE] Dylan Cuthbert has let the cat out of the bag via his Twitter feed. PixelJunk 4 will not be shown at GDC next week, instead we'll get the first look on the expansion for the third game in the series, PixelJunk Eden Encore.

PJ Racers is also a very solid title. Out of the 3 PJ Monsters is my favorite though it is mind numbingly difficult. Especially the trophy challenges.

Yeah I would preferred that they implemented them into the actual game instead of independent challenges. The one where you can't let a tower upgrade is the easiest one and I can't even get that!

I got that one. Might be the only one I've bothered with so far. At first, I thought the whole trophies thing was a great way to add replayability to a game, by I'm finding myself playing just for trophies sometimes, which is so dumb. Unless you could sell trophies for money. They're good for a challenge now and again, but that empty addiction factor is starting to bug me. Same reason I quit WoW before I hit lvl60, thank god lol...
I've been looking at Prinny and have been on the fence since I've never played a Disgaia game, but I've recently heard it's good and SUPER difficult. I love me the crazy hard games, so I might have to pick it up :$

Yeah man it's VERY difficult but very rewarding. It's not like the other Disgaea games in that it isn't a grinding RPG. It's damn fun to be honest one of the better PSP games. Not as good as SF Dark Mirror, GOW Chains Of Olympus or Jeanne D'Arc but still one of the best PSP games ever made IMO. Let me just say that it's difficult on Normal and I couldn't imagine playing it on the Hard mode. The biggest problem is Prinny can only take 4 hits before dying (there are checkpoints) and that makes boss battles extremely difficult especially when they are super cheap. It's like Metal Slug to the infinite degree. If your a masochist (like me) and enjoy banging your head against a brick wall then this is your type of game.

You have a PSP?
I got that Prinny game today as well as R:FOM Retribution and Prinny is an awesome game. It's so hard though ... makes me want to smash my new PSP-3000! Hardest game I have EVER played in my life. Makes PJ Monsters look like Linger In Shadows.

I have a PJ folder on my PS3, kinda collect their games. I loved Monsters and Racers but couldn't get into Eden, I give it 10 mins here and their but get bored quickly.
I mostly play Monsters via RemotePlay on my PSP while in the bath.

I got Eden when it first came out, loved it, got about halfway through. Picked it up again a few weeks ago after the patch came out and made things a bit easier, and now I'm addicted to it again, gotten all the way to the final garden. The level design in some of the later gardens is absolutely amazing. I am very much looking forward to an encore expansion!

I've really enjoyed Eden since they released the patch (pre-patch I gave up around Garden 7 where the difficulty got ridiculous).
I can get behind more Gardens (which is what I'm assuming this expansion would be). If they figured out online play, they'd be even better.
