It was a fun experiment, to be sure -- but we'll stick with playing on our DS systems from now on. Expect an early review of the game on Joystiq in the coming weeks.

Yeah, crazy huh?
Vegnagun bwf @ Mar 18th 2009 1:38PM
By offices they mean "a loose confederacy of hobos".
ObiBen @ Mar 18th 2009 1:38PM

Vegnagun bwf @ Mar 18th 2009 1:41PM

Rhamsey @ Mar 18th 2009 12:57PM
this is an awesome video
Ridgecity @ Mar 18th 2009 3:55PM
Somehow, japanese humor has failed to translate into american humor. maybe if they had started with some "Have you ever walked into one a (insert random american fastfood chain)?? they place the (random thing) right in your face? what is up with that?? I was like Waaa, and he was like Weee and I was like Waaa... and then you even have to tip the guy!!! give me a break!" kind of jokes.
Rhamsey @ Mar 18th 2009 4:06PM
well, i thought it was good, AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Saria the Cat @ Mar 18th 2009 12:59PM
I must not have any rhythm because the singing ones were pretty hard for me to do on Rhythm Tengoku.
Mr Khan @ Mar 18th 2009 1:01PM
Definitely uniquely Nintendo. Awkward, yet charming.
Bagels PSN:WolfLogic @ Mar 18th 2009 1:01PM
aye. Aye. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAYE!
xGearSecondx @ Mar 18th 2009 1:30PM

NoughtSoClever @ Mar 18th 2009 2:10PM

"new website" "our comment system is fixed" "the new joystiq will make you dream about rainbows"
only that last part was true.
Vegnagun bwf @ Mar 18th 2009 2:08PM
I constantly dream about rainbows now.
eZtipS @ Mar 18th 2009 4:48PM
I wish some girl would do me on a rainbow... But in real life....
Coke Boi @ Mar 18th 2009 1:02PM
anybody else think the dude on the far left looks like Syler from Heroes?
ronald.raygun @ Mar 18th 2009 3:02PM

... imagine my disappointment when no one's head was cut open
Bagels PSN:WolfLogic @ Mar 18th 2009 1:09PM
So did they just kinda, show up? Or did they have an appointment?
*plans uninvited trip to joystiq offices*
ronald.raygun @ Mar 18th 2009 3:02PM
road trip, bagel's driving
Bagels PSN:WolfLogic @ Mar 18th 2009 3:28PM
With my driving? I think we'd go to "rythym heaven" before we got there, if yunowatamsayin, sayin.
Jechtshot78 @ Mar 18th 2009 1:11PM
That was pretty horrible.
CubeGuy @ Mar 18th 2009 1:13PM
See if they'll come by for a demo of Elite Beat Agents 2 if and when that ever happens.
Josh @ Mar 18th 2009 6:15PM

Kevin Jay @ Mar 18th 2009 1:13PM
So this was supposed to promote the game?
xGearSecondx @ Mar 18th 2009 1:31PM
Great.. now that's gonna be stuck in my head. I'll feel the need to sing "Aye!" at random.
z @ Mar 18th 2009 1:34PM
Uh, that guy isn't really conducting—and those vocalists aren't even singing A's. (Plus they're in the key of E♭ where there are no A♮!) WTF?
Duke @ Mar 18th 2009 1:36PM
You are over-thinking this one.
Ethan @ Mar 18th 2009 2:02PM
Nah I think they were singing in mixolydian.
e @ Mar 18th 2009 1:36PM
Hey Yoon, your Joystiq offices bear a stunning resemblance to ours!
love,
R
Andrew Yoon @ Mar 18th 2009 2:02PM
;P
Jeff @ Mar 18th 2009 1:47PM
The singers were so off in their timing. Makes me wonder if they can even pass that stage in the game.
Ethan @ Mar 18th 2009 2:01PM
Marketing at it's most mockable.
Bagels PSN:WolfLogic @ Mar 18th 2009 3:34PM
"Just touch the stylus on the tap screen"
treqie @ Mar 18th 2009 2:04PM
Nintendo demonstating their game, with a gears of war poster in the background. :)
Covarr @ Mar 18th 2009 2:06PM
This is like something Mega64 would do, except they'd do it in public, and probably get in people's way and be generally irritating and awesome.
robotoid @ Mar 18th 2009 2:20PM
that is one awful marketing idea.
eltercero @ Mar 18th 2009 2:21PM
LOL, this video is simply awesome.
Spiritsnare @ Mar 18th 2009 2:53PM
I like how this video is done in a room with a Gears of War 2 poster.
Subtlety at work?
Desi @ Mar 18th 2009 3:39PM
LOL Pretty funny!
Alex @ Mar 18th 2009 3:43PM
the middle girl was always off beat
