In the most lopsided victory since Boll vs. Kyanka, Jon Stewart took on Jim Cramer last week in The Daily Show ring and -- spoiler alert -- humbled the CNBC Mad Money host in a technically brilliant, 22-minute ass whoopin'. This instant classic is now available in its "unedited" (warning: F-bomb dropping) entirety on the US Xbox Live Video Marketplace -- free for Gold subscribers.
Note: The video content (257 MB) is only accessable through the console and isn't queueable from the Xbox.com Marketplace.

I've watched the interview three times now and I still cannot believe how well Jon Stewart took down Cramer. Stewart's offense was, simply put, amazing.

I was expecting a letdown, since (as Jon put it himself the night before) it was just a bunch of nothing blown out of proportion by the media.
(Insert obligatory "WTF JON STEWART VS THE MEDIA WHAT KIND OF LIBERAL CONSPIRACY IS THIS NOM NOM NOM" here.)
What I thought Jon did so well was taking the focus off of Cramer and highlighting the complacency of all the insiders who should have blew the whistle long ago.

i was expecting a good debate/conversation. but of course it was jon stewarts show and every time cramer began to respond he was interrupted almost immediately. for those of you who thought that cramer was destroyed, realize that this wasn't in any sense a fair debate.

Jon Stewart is becoming an insufferable Douche bag and Cramer went in there like his vagina was already sore. I mean come on! He was such a pussy and just sat there and took it.
Question of the day - Who is less of a man, Jim Cramer or they guy that took all the verbal abuse from Christian Bale without once nutting up and sticking up for himself.

I love the Daily Show, but John Steward is a dick to his guests. It is apparent from watching the interview that he did not watch CNBC in 2007 when many people on their shows WERE predicting that a recession was coming. He acts as if CNBC completely denied this in order to protect their Wall Street buddies. Furthermore, if people think they understand incredibly complex financial markets because they watch Jim Cramer's show, then they are retarded and it's their own fault if they lost money.

How hard is it to verbally beat someone when you have a team of writers on your side as well as researchers looking up and nit picking every single thing someone said in the past 10 years and then editing them to your advantage? I'll take Colbert's satire vs Stewart's satire any day.

What makes you think Colbert doesnt have his own team?? Most reporters, journalists, and hosts got ppl working in the background doing the grunt work.
Besides it doesnt change the fact that most of what he has said does have a point.

I'm the opposite. Colbert is a persona but Stewart isn't. Why do you think The Daily Show is more popular? Even Colbert himself said they have a lot to learn from Stewart's show.

Reread what I said, I never said Colbert doesn't have his own team; he has a humor to his satire where even the person he is "making fun of" can laugh it at too whereas Stewart's basically is completely at the expense is of the other person if he doesn't like them.
And so what about Stewart's point? Wow, it's like we all never knew that Cramer and Co. were douches. If you were dumb enough to take complete financial advice from a TV personality, you deserved it lost.

Exactly. If Stewart's thesis - that Cramer and his buddies' "advice" influenced a hundred trillion dollar asset market - we were completely doomed when they invented the television.
He's just the financial version of Jon Stewart, a TV entertainer with a team of producers to make him look smart. If Stewart had gone on Cramer's show he would have looked just as dumb. (Alright, maybe not; I doubt Cramer has anyone as funny as the Daily Show writers).

except that jim cramer has a lot of experience in the subject he talks about..... where as jon stewart has experience in.. hosting the oscars? doing stand-up? being in shitty movies? acting?
one is ACTUALLY smart and is being a crazy character just to make some money while he is at it, and the other is a character who is backed by a team of writers that feed him his so-called "knowledge".
if anyone thinks that jon stewart is really THAT smart than they are just as stupid as the people who followed Cramers advice verbatim.

Uhhh, you all seem to be forgetting the Tucker Carlson event. Stewart is not an idiot parroting his staffs work. He fucking ate Carlson alive on the guys own show.

thats absurd. he didn't do anything but tell them "Stop" and "are you really comparing yourselves to a comedy show?" while at the same time attempting to validate his own comments. he didn't beat anybody there, he just ran the show by interrupting everyone he could. he doesn't say anything intelligent, he just comes off as this pretentious elitest who is smarter than the people he is being interviewed by. hmmm, being pretentious.... remind you of anyone else? how about bill oreilly?
the fact of the matter is that regardless of where he is, a team of writers could easily have supplied him with the answers to any question. they do it for the president all the time.

It's not free for gold members and it's not unedited either. I paid for it as I wanted to view the unedited version, but now all I've got is the same thing I watched for free and recorded.
