I bought it just for WiiPlay, I actually have 5 WiiMotes because of it. Alright I'm kidding. Only have 4. I think I played through each game once, total of 20 minutes, tops? Utterly horrible. I couldn't tell you what I did with the disc either. I think it might've gone all Mission Impossible on me and destroyed itself.

I did actually end up with 5 controllers after it (stupid relocating from a PAL zone to NTSC), so I just use my other remote as a presentation remote for my computer.

GameStop sells Wii play separately from the remote used for 19.99.

They take the remotes and games used on trade as separate items. Used remotes cost 34.99

Anyone who knows the stink of the game would NEVER buy it by itself used. Tanks and shooting gallery are the only decent parts of it at all, and they lose their appeal after about 5 minutes each.

People only buy it because they need another remote and see a game with the remote for only $10 more. No one buys this game for the game...

I think it's funny that the package says "Bonus Wii Remote" instead of "Bonus Wii Play Software" on it.

The worst thing is people then trade in Wii play without tthe remote. Who the hell is gonna buy it then, and even worse is that when you want to trade in your copy, they won't take it because they got too many =[.

bought it for the wiimote, and you get 9 games for $10 more than just the regular priced wiimote.

Toys R Us tried to tell me last xmas that the WiiZapper was a game and not an accessory, but on the box it says WiiZapper with free game included (they didn't want to give me the 15% discount on accessories sale they were having).

fyi, the WiiFit is also an accessory and comes with a free game. ;)

My personal opinion is that Link's Crossbow Training is the only pack-in amongst those mentioned that is passable.

I got it for the wiimote and considered it getting a free game with purchase of a controller. Weird how that works eh?

I bought it with the midset that I was paying full price for a remote and paying $10 for a disc of tech demos. It satisfied on both fronts.

Haters. All of you. Tanks, alone, is worth the price of admission. Honestly, if they offered Tanks as a 1000 point WiiWare download instead of in the WiiPlay bundle, I bet more people would acknowledge its greatness. Sure, the rest of WiiPlay might be average-at-best, but Tanks is great.

Agreed. I've spent countless hours playing Tanks with my friend. Really reminds me of an old school NES-style game. Now, if the game was $50 by itself I may never have bought it. But honestly, I think I got my money's worth even if it had not included a controller.

Agreed x 2. Tanks is awesome fun, especially co-op. :)

None of the other games are terribly exciting, although trying to get medals on a few of them, or playing two-player adds at least a bit of amusement value.

Worth $10, anyway.

come ooon!! Tanks COULD be awesome. For some reason, someone thought that making a co-op game with several levels AND NO EXTRA LIVES OR CONTINUES was a great idea. And someone even dumber thought it should be a dispute over "who kills more". It's like the programmer and the game designer never really met each other, nor even shared the same design documents. Seriously, you don't see donatello bragging because he killed more foot soldiers in Turtles in Time (SNES). He only gets more continues for it. If you play all right, you get to see all the stages. Now, try that on TANKS. They killed it with like... 10 wrong lines of code. The engine is smooth, the controls are responsive and easy. WHY, nintendo, why? They're losing it. No-one is making ald-school videogames right these days. Ok, Braid is good (and NOT NINTENDO). Where is the new 2D Metroid? (and i'm not saying FUSION garbage, i mean ZERO MISSION like). Where is Super Mario 5? Or a wii mario kart game that's not aimed at my GRANDMA. Come on.

Unlike my Zapper, which I bought for Link's Crossbow Training. (Totally worth it.)

I don't understand how people don't consider this software... The game isn't free, it's $10. People have bought the game for $10. Over 10 million people paid $10 for wii play, and they also paid $40 for another wii remote that they would have bought anyways.

If ANY of the other consoles offered a $10 dollar game I would pick that up too. It's a cheap game to help you break in the wii. This isn't rocket science.

Before I sold my Wii, I bought it for the controller. I bought a second copy as a birthday present. Best Buy wouldn't let me use a Reward Zone coupon because I was buying "video game hardware" which was excluded.

I bought it, and enjoyed it. Every game is fun, some have more lasting value than others. Tanks is by far the best, I love that game. Absolutely worth the $10 more than buying a Wii-mote individually.

Knowing what I know now, I'd save $10 and just buy a Wii Remote.

Further more,

knowing what I know now, I'd save $250 had I not bought a Wii at launch.

Everyone's complaning about how terrible it is...well then just buy the remote for $10 less and put that $10 to something that's not completely terrible.

This is not a hard concept.

I already had 2 controllers and a 2-wiimote charger, so I bought the game (sans controller) on eBay for $10.

I actually kinda like it...it's a fun time waster.

I bought it for the Wii remote and thought of Wii Play as a nice 10 dollar bonus :)
It's nothing exceptional, but for 10 dollars I think it's fine.
