Are you bummed that you'll be stuck at home over the next week, far away from the action and excitement of the 2009 Game Developers Conference? Fret not -- we've got your back as far as GDC-related news is concerned, but if you want to see footage of the glitzy, glamorous Game Developers Choice Awards (which will take place this Wednesday), you can fulfill your peculiar desire by flipping your teevee-box to G4, where X-Play will be airing the ceremony in its entirety.
Bizarrely, they'll be broadcasting the event on April 10, more than two weeks after the awards will be handed out. The program might be a bit too tardy to be worth watching, but since we'll have told you all the winners by that point, you could easily score a few bucks from some unaware acquaintances in a GDCA prediction pool.

Bob's at GDC. Right now! Stage 100 today. He even mentioned Joystiq.com in the Thank you section on his site!

I'm thinking he's referring to Bob, the whiny-ass developer of Bob's Game.

Oh, the Bob's Game guy. That hack.
He has faded into obscurity. Something tells me he's not speaking there, so why does it matter where he is?
That's like me saying "zuburi, creator of Flaming Penis Comics, is going to be at the San Diego Comic Con!"
(Little does anybody know that these are comics I doodled on a Denny's kid's menu, that I paid for a ticket, and I am just an attendee.)

Didn't you hear? Bob's changed. It was all just a marketing stunt! He never even messed with the nintendo center in NYC. Rather an amusing one at that. Alien invasions and reggie being controlled by the "diabolical miyamoto". Who could take that seriously? I honestly think people kicked up too much of a fuss about Bob. Though I guess that's what he wanted.

Apparently it was a well put together fake. Check his site for some videos showing this. They don't explain everything, but they do do some of it. Some of the shots were surely taken at the store, but all the wrecking was done wherever else he filmed it. Apparently. =o

Whoops, looks like those videos are gone now. bobsgame.com changes fairly radically almost every day now, sorry 'bout that.

Who in the hell still watches G4? That channel is a joke. Will their coverage begin before or after COPS?

Or you could watch it live on Gamespot http://gdc.gamespot.com/
