i seriously HATE PETA. more than any organization than i can think of off the top of my head. one stupid ass ad that i see on the metro on my way to school says "you approved prop 2 (the proposition in california that allowed caged animals more room to move around and stretch), now...go vegan"

seriouly...wtf. GOD i hate peta, unless its spelled with an pita..then i find it very filling and satisfying

I'd like PETA to know that this game has in no way influenced me. I've always been pro-killing-something-that-is-trying-to-kill-me-or-someone-I-care-about, whether it's a person or an attack dog.

We need to send attack dogs on PETA. Let see if they will fight back once the dogs are chewing them to pieces.

this is seriously getting ridiculous, there is a highly significant difference between a pet animal and a freaking attack dog bred and raised to kill people. this was part of WWII you cant deny that. hell the military still uses dolphins to detect mines in the water. PETA can shove it, maybe one day they will realize no1 cares about there cries for help.

You know, I'm all for animal rights and the humanitarian treatment of animals. But sometimes, you have to pick your battles. It's a game with a modicum of historical accuracy in relation to tactics (yes, I know zombies aren't real), and even today dogs are used in roles that can lead to them committing or being victimized by violence (guard dogs, bomb sniffers, etc).

If the game was about hunting down and shooting dogs for the fun of it, then yes, PETA, have a fit and make a point. Did you guys send Nintendogs to the developers of Cabelas? Games in which you HUNT AND SHOOT ANIMALS as the main focus?

Jesus. Pick your battles.

What I find aggravating is how PETA randomly chooses which games to pick fiery battles with, even though this type of shit is prevalent in all kinds of other games. What about Dogmeat in Fallout 3? Or the fact that you shoot "Vicious Dogs" in Fallout 3?

I'm a vegetarian and they make us look really, really bad.

they probably would endorse dogmeat, because you could make him kill people, which they would probably consider him liberating himself?

I just don't want to see their message, which is a good one, get clouded by frivolous rabble-rousing. People will tune them out, and then the war is lost, not just the battle.

Saria, they're insane hypocrites that murder animals, not save them. Local city pounds adopt out more animals than they do (percentage-wise).

Sadly PETA doesn't just kill animals they're also batshit crazy. They believe that animals should have the same rights as people. They're using the mistreatment of animals as a foot in the door. If you haven't seen it check out the episode of Penn & Teller's Bullshit about PETA, it's scary how nuts they are.

They do some good, but when its tied into their bullshit who fucking cares? I mean most of us want animals to be treated humanely, even the ones we're going to eat, but fuck if I'm going to think of my dog as an equal with a human. I love the little fucker, but I'd let a starving kid I don't know eat him if there were no other food.
