Uhh......what? Only 160 points in Japan? That's $3 less than here on 360!

It should at least include achievements/trophies, which I'm sure it won't?

I think the fact that that is the same day the Mythic map pack comes out for Halo 3 is purely coincidental, nay, I KNOW it is.

Ya they did post something about playstation trophies. That is how they found out about the DLC in the first place. Someone caught a glance at an achievement list that had survival mode trophies on it.

Sticking with the lower price in Japan eh?
Oh well, they lost my sale with this game as soon as they announced the DLC was not free. Then the "customer complaints are 'bs'" comment. NO THANK YOU! No matter how well the game re-glorifies RE4 (+co-op WTF?), I will never buy it.

And you guys talking about the trophies/achievements, don't download it just to make your 'e-penis' bigger. It is best not to support $@!# from companies like this.

Thank goodness that you can 'unlock' 360s to play downloaded games. I will play at my cousins house next time I visit. This game is not worth a purchase.

RE is dead to me unless a better company takes it over, or Capcom takes their heads out of their butts.

Really? All that anger over an optional DLC pack that only adds versus and some achievements? Honestly, judging a perfectly fine game because you don't like the idea of paying for add-ons seems silly.

People who are complaining about this DLC are acting like Capcom is the first company to ever charge for additional content. Honestly, where have you been since Oblivion came out?

Fuck that noise. I would gladly pay $60 for Mercenaries alone. I have already invested more time in that mode than I have in the campaign. I don't understand how you can take a game like RE5 and say that it's not worth $60 without the DLC or that they the DLC is a rip off.

RE5's campaign is just as long as most action games, Halo 3, Uncharted, Dead Space, or Bioshock, plus there is more incentive to play it through for great unlocks. And then on top of that, they give you a co-op mode with online play, even over system link. And then on top of that, you get Mercenaries mode which many like me enjoy more than the regular game, esp with a friend.

All this and you want more for free? You got entitlement issues.

Rein: There have been murders in the past, therefore getting upset over a recent murder is stupid? What kind of logic is that?

There's absolutely nothing wrong with voting with your dollars. However, using piracy as an alternative is hypocritical. Either you dislike the company's actions enough to abstain from their games entirely, and not support them, or you like them enough to play their game.

I don't think $5 is enough. I'd have charged ten or maybe fifteen. Also I honestly think the controls are the best part of the game.

I still have to laugh at tank controls in an mp match. "Hold still while I aim" "No, you hold still" "Just wait until I rush up, pause and switch to my knife, I'll fix you!".

Hey $5 ain't too bad though really. Looks possibly fun. I just have no idea how the controls will work in a competitive match without tweaking it a little bit...then we'll all be begging for the same tweaked controls in single player..which of course will only cost $2.99

I spent 60 bucks on Prince of Persia, and another 10 to see the ending, which sucked, a game which I did everything possible on in under 10-12 hours of play, spent 70 bucks, and people are complaining about this? I've played at least 20 hours of RE5 and feel like I have at least 20 hours worth of fun before I get anywhere close to tired of it.

The ending of PoP is more of an ending than the epilogue. I see the epilogue as more of a chapter to tide you over til next game.

But yeah, I agree with you on RE5. Nothing about the game suggests I didn't get my $60 worth. I've already pumped in a good 25 hours or so and now I'm working on a "Professional" run through, which is hard even with infinite ammo.

I'm getting this. But with no moving and shooting, you guys realize this is going to turn into a huge camp fest, right? Wesker with the Hydra and Magnum Vs. Jill with her back turned? It'll be fun, but still... Huge camp fest.

All that I can say about this decision of Capcom's is that they'll most probably lose quite a fair number of fans and customers alike.

In my opinion, they could have just implemented the VS mode in the released game and charge the pricing of the game a little higher (IF they are aftering our cash :P) while at the same time, tell everyone that "This is a new gameplay that we had implemented. Hope that you enjoy it and continue to support us just as you did when you bought this game".

Okay, so this new VS mode MIGHT be a new project that is currently under development (I highly doubt it) BUT I'm sure that if Capcom (Before RE5 release) suddenly announced that the release of RE5 is to be delayed and said that there will be a big surprise awaiting (VS Mode), I'd say that it'd be a great rep boost for this game since it will cause a little suspense.

IF they did that, I'm pretty sure that they can charge the initial price of the game higher too and no one would complain!

Of course, these are just my opinion and I just wanna say that I love this game the way it is right now but I don't think I'd DL this VS mode since I don't use DLC unless they're free I mean, c'mon! How much does the friggin disc cost already? Seriously...

I'd hate to be in the shoes of those people who had bought the Collector's Edition of RE5 right now...

Well thank God people have calmed down about this. A week ago almost every comment was negative. I personally love Mercenaries mode and am looking forward to a competitive version. I LOVE the controls for the record...

Fuck you Adam Sessler!!!
