What, did they not test this DLC before throwing it out the door?

Microsoft doesn't test shit if it the product is hyped. Look at Castle Crashers.

MS is good at this. I remember how the NG2 DLC was glitched, and the update to put it in the game actually broke the game. All while they plastered ads for it on the dashboard. I hope this is fixed fast.

kind of annoying that you can't even trust if anything is actually release worthy anymore.

This is just typical Bethesda. Look at their forums filled with angry complaints of glitches, crashes, unplayable quests because of dying NPC's. This has been going on since the release. I, for one, will never buy another game made by them until its gone through at least a year's worth of patches.

Does Microsoft test anything? Remember Windows 95? 2000? XP (to some extent) and vista? How about the Red Rings on the 360? But I blame Bethesda, 1) they should know better & 2) shame on them for not testing it to run on MS.

This is accurate, folks. On my drive in to work this morning, there were several accidents near the downtown area caused by giant floating exclamation marks. Mayor Ravenstahl has declared a state of emergency. This is no laughing matter.

I can see them from Oakland! Too bad the Cathedral of Learning seems to be unaffected, I might have had my classes canceled today.

You see, the problem is that the University of Pittsburgh NEVER has an off day.

Seriously, how many years has it been since the University had a snow day?! Exclamation points would be nothing compared to the sleet we had a few months ago, and I still had to walk uphill for classes, BOTH ways!

In any other city, that would be an exaggeration.

Really? How many are they planning on? That'll be schweet for me being able to start the game with all DLC available. Haven't really played it since I got it for xmas months ago, and can't say when I'll actually get around to it.

They're lifting the level cap and the finite ending with the next one. I'll get back into it when that happens.

Good timing too, since I don't plan on getting any more full retail games until Prototype comes out this summer.

Does finite ending mean you're unable to free roam in the gameworld to take care of unfinished business after you 'beat' it? That would've absolutely killed all the replay value I got out of Fable II after I beat it...

Yes. And I agree, it would have killed Fable 2.

Hey, what's your GT? I don't think you're on my list.

Best glitch in Fallout 3 for me was when I was heading from 101 to 106 and a huge square chunk of the terrain disappeared and I ended up in the water! Over a 200 foot drop (Give or take)!

Good thing I was gonna wait for the "Broken Steel" level cap raise before doing any new quests. Didn't "Shivering Isles" also have some issues when it first came out?

The exclamation marks are due to missing models and not texture errors. Walls and stuff are missing so you can walk right out of the map.

Here are the texture errors: http://img3.imageshack.us/img3/8492/dsc00104hok.jpg

I wish they'd do an NYC DLC and whatever bad guy faction you face would have their headquarters in either the toppled remains of the empire state building or the disfigured Statue of Liberty.
Come on that'd be awesome right?

Huh, I wonder if they released a previous version by accident. That has happened before. It also irritates that they pushed this back a month and some and it is still glitchy. Damn, imagine if it was released on time...

So one of the buggiest games made recently has had buggy DLC, and your surprised. Don't get me wrong I loved this game, but with all the freezing, and random floating objects, it was very obvious QA was lacking.

if you think Fallout3 is buggy, you must have never played Oblivion...or Morrowind...there are places in Morrowind that if I moved 4 steps forward, it crashes...glitches so bad it breaks the main questline (never fixed)...

Fallout3 was a godsend compared to those games...Don't get me wrong, they're all still 5/5-star games to me...

Fallout 3 was the first bathesda game I have played, but it seems like they have some quality issues that they don't really care about fixing. Still a great game though, and i will definately wait on my next bathesda purchase.

I still haven't even been able to play Operation Anchorage because Fallout 3 won't go without crashing on me. Which sucks because I've already put nearly 30 hours into my game.

That's kind of funny. A) I don't pay a live subscription, it's not needed for DLC. B) It's not like they forcefully inserting this DLC into my rectum. It's not like I'm not allowed to move on because of this DLC. I didn't sign some kind of contract which tethers me to Fallout 3 and requires I buy all it's DLC before playing another game.

I love the hell out of the game, but there is no denying that it is an incredibly buggy mess. Bethesda desperately needs better programmers. Their code is awful.
