It's been a little while since we've seen or heard anything new regarding Titan Studios' upcoming PSN online CTP (Capture The Princess) game, Fat Princess. This new batch of seventeen screenshots, showing some new levels and bases from the game, should keep you busy until the game launches. Whenever that may be ...
The game is playable at the PlayStation Blog Lounge at GDC this week. We'll return to you with some hands-on impressions as soon as possible.

This looks to be the best PSN title yet. And one of the best DL games out there.

This was the princess Tim from Braid was talking about....The atom bomb was just a hyperbole for her size.

We need more games like this, wild unrealistic games with outstanding stylized/cartoon/colorful visuals. I don't want realism and grit, I play games to escape reality. I can't wait to start development on Exploding Rainbows. Lots of blood and gore in a twistedly happy childlike fairytale setting.

Nothing better then playing a happy colourful adventurous game after a dull monotone game like Gears or Resistance (great games, but lacking in colour) or a game whereby you have gotten stuck and have no idea of where to go next :D Can be mega frustrating.

Uhhh... I got a PS3 around launch but it failed upon loading a game about a year ago and Sony wanted me to pay 160 dollars to have it repaired plus S/H. I packed the sucker up and returned it to Walmart for store credit and used it to buy several 360 and DS games instead of getting a new one cause I was pissed. I got a new one this past fall for LBP etc. There isn't much going on for the PS3 that has me interested up until now. Don't be a douche like Sony has this generation.

With the bandwidth costs looking to be a major problem for devs, I don't think this game is going to hit any time soon. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed though!!

/me slaps head and shouts doh..
Ok try to understand this logic.. Its a PSN game download..
game is 1 GB to download..
game company, has initially priced the game at $8, but because of the bandwith cost charges a dollar more so now it costs $9.. Not only recouping the cost of the bandwidth but also increasing their profit margin (considering they would have only lost 16 cents per download increasing by a dollar means they are making 84 cents extra, right ? )
Does this make sense to you ?
Plus as it is an exclusive they probably have some arrangement with Sony where they dont even incur bandwidth cost..

Thanks for shedding light on that. Good news; this comes out this summer. Bad news, we don't when in the summer.

All i really care about is a release date... this is like the equivalent of castle crashers but its something we can call our own ; ) i look forward to the day i get to play this great looking game. It has cake, bows and arrows, different classes (like in a rpg), and you defend/steal a princess what more could you want? it is kind of like animal crossing meets defend your castle & capture the flag all in one neat package.

Haha, it's funny how games like Wind Waker always get trash-talked for having "kiddie" graphics, but something like this gets announced for PS3 and everyone shits their pants in excitement, just because it's on a "mature" system?
