The trailer above shows off a variety of new end-game content that, to be perfectly honest, looks to be a lot of fun. Commanding fleets of space-faring creatures across the galaxy, subjugating everyone along the way? Where do we sign up?! And remember, Spore Galactic Adventures is just the first of four Spore titles coming to various platforms (Wii/DS/PC/Mac) this year, so keep those pocketbooks open.

I'd say that would be because it's the same high-profile EA-owned developer. It's utterly foolish to link media hype to a game's quality.

Whatever...we're not allowed to express our opinions? To me that trailer looked lame as hell and I felt the need to convey that. If you need to ban people over that then so be it.
EDIT: I edited your comment and warned you based on the content of the comment, not for expressing your opinion. You're perfectly allowed to say, "This shit looks lame." I'm not going to ban anyone for their opinion, so chill out.

So I can say 'this shit looks lame', but can't say 'this trailer looks gay'?
Clearly my statement wasn't meant in the literal sense. If you took offense to that then that shit was lame.
EDIT: Correct. You cannot say "this trailer looks gay" unless you're referencing the trailer somehow looking literally homosexual. Are there men/women having sex with people of their gender in the trailer? Oh, right, no, you're using it in a derogatory/inflammatory/completely ignorant sense. So yeah, say it again and I'll ban you. Enough.

Can one of the expansions just make the entire game like the cell stage? That was the only fun part.

This is what Spore should have been in the first place.

I played the original Spore for about 80 hours. I enjoyed it, but I enjoyed it much more as a tool then a game. I do hope that they continue to release expansions that can add more depth and not "breathe" to the gameplay. The earlier stages really need to have that, such as the Tribal and Civilization stage.

I'm not interested. Spore was supposed to be a sandbox game. Will Wright promised it would be a toy rather than a game. It was supposed to be a Sim-game.
This expansion still doesn't deliver that.
