The "diamond" shaped perk kind of looks like a parachute canopy and cords to me...

AT about 1.22 or 1.23 you see a man with a badge on his arm, it is a USA badge, could this mean another marine corps aspect of the game. What do u think??

honestly if you look very carefully the fatigues and helmet around 1:22 in the trailer are those that are worn u.s. military but u can actually see the American flag subdued patch worn on our uniforms during the teaser and the MH-6 Little Bird which is predominantly used by the Army Special Operations Command 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment. This units mission and normal operation conditions looks like it fits the scene in the trailer very well considering the 160th SOAR is known as the Night Stalkers dueto the fact they thrive at night and are actually the reason for most of the advances in equipment used at night. you also see frogmen aka divers so this could be a JSOC or Joint Special Operations Command unit or feature in the game since in JSOC or USSOC(United States Special Operation Command) includes ARSOC(army special operation command), NAVSOC(Naval Special Operations Command), MARSOC( Marine Special Operations Command) and AFSOC( Air Force Special Operations Command).

Sorry dude, but I thought the cold war didn't have any fighting in it. People showed off what their missiles could do, but nobody ever fought. (Yes I know about the cuban missile crisis.) Besides I don't know if that is the "Modern" that Infinity Ward is talking about.

hershel do your research before you say there is no fighting in a war that lasted over 40 years

The Cold War was the continuing state of conflict, tension and competition that existed primarily between the United States and the Soviet Union and those countries' respective allies from the mid-1940s to the early 1990s

The Cold War saw periods of both heightened tension and relative calm. On the one hand, international crises arose, such as the Berlin Blockade (1948–1949), the Korean War (1950–1953), the Berlin Crisis of 1961, the Vietnam War (1959–1975), the Soviet war in Afghanistan (1979–1989), NATO exercises in November 1983 and especially the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis. There were also periods of reduced tension as both sides sought détente. Direct military attacks on adversaries were deterred by the potential for mutual assured destruction using deliverable nuclear weapons.

Does anybody think it would be cool if you could unlock different types of the same gun ex. (M16, M4, SR-25, M16 Vietnam version) (G36C, G36K, Civilian G36, and XM8) bullpups would be nice to again with the different types of guns (AUG, AUG A3, AUG Para,) (L85, L22 Carbine, LWS the LMG version of the L85/SA80)

Also I wish that you could use your custom classes in single player (no perks since they're already equipped except for double tap and sleight of hand)

Another feature that would be nice is if you could use specific combos that are used in the real world and they would have there own advantages ex. (L85 SUSAT x4 scope advantage would be farther scope (obviously) XM8 Scope and the double round drum magazine for the MP5 the one that looks like two testicles (ha ha funny word get over yourself)

I'm sorry if this comment strayed from the topic or is mean I'm sorry about that.

it looks as though it will be in russia, and have something to do with terrorists and be in some sort of airport as u see them running towards security and you can also hear the PA talk about passengers boarding. Not too much about perks though, i was told there might be some clues, but watch for yourself and COD 6 should be better than 4 and game of year 2 nasty games from activison.

First of all to those that keep saying swat type game play and situations i have a questions for you. Have you ever heard of a little thing called URBAN WARFARE? if not let me fill u in for just a second the first modern warfare and I am betting this one as well are simulating close quarters combat at its finest. I have spent time in Iraq and I will tell you that a lot of the scenes from the first modern warfare are fairly accurate depictions of the scenery and landscape in and around the parts of Iraq I saw. the game play I am hoping stays in the same lines as well with the enemy popping up around the next corner. the story line is not the same things you see over there but the online game play simulation is very accurate. the weapons and their effectiveness are close 90% of the time. So all the haters that say it is unrealistic need a dose of reality themselves.
