A sequel to My Life as a King is surprising, but very welcome. Hopefully they've fixed a lot of the problems it had though. The After is great news, although the Wii wouldn't have been my first choice of console to buy it on.. I'll probably wait to see if it's ported to another system before bothering with it.

And the original FF games just seem like a waste of time, they've been re-released so many times now, I find it hard to believe there's anyone who doesn't own them.. and I'd rather stick with the superior GBA/DS versions.

No thanks on any, I still haven't finished with the first My Life as a King/Darklord. I have the FF1/2 bundled game for the GBA, and quite frankly FF is overrated.

I would say it's not overrated for people who grew up in the NES/SNES era, playing masterpieces like FF2 and FF3 (ff4 and 6). Seeing the move from SNES to PS pretty much changed my gaming life and I still remember exactly where I bought that game. Final Fantasy has been more a part of my life then any other video game franchise.
I could see how newer people would not appreciate the games today since they don't come out nearly as much and crappy rehashes are released every other month. But to each his own.

Thats basing your whole view of the series on 2/3 games, are you insane? and I and II being before they had really got going on the series, no way does I and II represent the series, thats like saying super mario bros 1 and 2 represents all the mario games. And Life of a King being an offshoot of an offshoot of the series proper makes it riddicilous

Or maybe that the town simulator was actually quite fun instead of the RPG games which are a bore.

Agh, I need some SCREENS (and confirmation of other, more potentially-available-to-me-eventually services)!
