Ever since Amazon revealed its trade-in program, GameStop has felt threatened. First, stock dropped 13% and CEO Dan DeMatteo gave Amazon a zero percent chance of succeeding, then EEDAR stepped in to get GameStop's back. It's like the Sharks vs. the Jets all over again.
Amazon isn't taking all of this lying down, however, as it just announced an extra perk for trading in games. Not only will you get an Amazon gift card for your games, but now you will also get $20 off select new releases if you trade in 4 games before April 12, 2009. Looking over the list of new games that are available, it would seem Amazon hasn't neglected any of note: Resident Evil 5, Halo Wars, Killzone 2, and MadWorld are all there.

Apparently GameStop missed with the dreaded Back Brain Kick!

It's going for 30ish on half.com. Do that instead.

You should have traded in when the store first opened.
I traded them Resistance 2 for 21.50, and Madden NFL for like 18 something. Now they both lost around 10 bucks.

When you linked to Sharks vs. Jets I was expecting some hockey.
And to make this post relevant, I've traded in a game once. It was a duplicate of GH3 with Les Paul and a battery. I got like 14 bucks for it and I swore I'd never sell my stuff to a corporation.

Goozex gives 1000 points for R2, which is enough to get you a new release in even trade, minus your $1 trade fee and shipping, of course. It's a little slow to get started. as you need to send out first, but it's a great program.

I still rather use Goozex. I trade in games I pick up on clearance or have held onto because I loved them but don't feel like trading them in for 9 dollars.
You trade in your game for points and you use those points to redeem games from others on the site. It's a great way to pick up titles that are still fairly new. I got fable II yesterday. It's practically free. You just pay to mail the game to the person who request it and when they get it, you get points. I'm much happier with this then seeing my games go to gamestop for 5 bucks and sell for 30+. I put my referral link below. If you like the service and use it I benefit a little.

Anyone else want to back up my suggestion?
