It still does have bosses.
Like the Skulldozer, Explosive Pete (or whatever he was called), the Gangster dude and a fair few others( not played the game for many months so memory is a little shaky)

By far if implemented right, this game can take it to a whole other level. A seriously problem is being able to design levels well. Some have done it, many have not... I would like to see some massive DLC come our way, and bring new items etc, hopefully reinvigorate the community.

What it really needs is a better user-created-level organizer. There's so much crap out there, but there's a lot of great stuff too, but the hearts and rating system don't always equate to a good level to play. They have a news section with featured levels, but it updates infrequently and usually focuses on a specific type of level.

What they need is a place for levels that the devs recommend.

A 100% agreed with a devs section. A new patch was just announced and it looks to address a few stuff in terms of user created, who knows.. good things on the horizon

I recently picked this up on a whim when it was in the clearance bin at my local department store - in Japan - for around $5. I didn`t really have high hopes with how crappy user-designed-level games have been in the past... But was seriously pleasantly surprised. Stayed glued to it and played through the whole single player, dragged my husband along to play through most of it again to get the 2 player items, etc... Made a few simple levels for my inept son to play through...

But finding a good level online really is like hunting for a needle in a haystack. The levels with the highest rankings end up being "tributes" or the like, and not actually anything original. The best level I found only had a handful of hearts, as it was completely original and they hadn`t spammed up and down... Or used the "meme words" in the title (tribute, names-of-other-games, etc)

The $5 was really a fluke. I got lucky - the store stocks PS3 stuff but has no customer base... After a few months they have a clearance - first it`s knocked down to half price, then half, etc, until it is either sold of ends up at $5 level. It`s still pretty high normally.

(Also picked up Ratchet&Clank Future and Afrika for the same price. All a matter of luck.)
