GDC09: Leaked God of War III gameplay footage

Looks cool but like CJLopez said, it's simply God of War I and II but with updated graphics so far.

God of War has the action, the story and great animation and graphics. But it lacks the award of all that hack n slashing you are doing. You simply are fighting your way through levels with the story advancing. You get to choose new abilities but that's about it.

If there was an "Adventure" element added then that would be cool. Like God of War with a little Zelda sprinkled on top. Imagine going to different cities and towns. Like in Zelda every town had a sort of "segment" that advanced the story while also being able to do side missions and let you free roam around. The problem with Zelda was the puzzles got really easy, but God of War already has good puzzles. So Mix God of War + Zelda and I think you have magic.

This one will rock, it will be even better than GoW I & II cause it has something that those game didnt have....

All I could think when looking at that was "mehhhhhhhhhhhhhh". And I was expecting something good, too. Could have expected this though, with the shitty looking screenshots they released a while ago.

Wow I see that alot of people are dissing this game. Saying its no diffrent from the others. Well seeing as in the others u cant switch weapons while attacking an enemy. U cant dive bomb attack with a harpie. U can't ride on the back of a titan that is living. U cant fight on the back of a titan. So all I'm reading is people bitching and moaning about a video> Since its not a trailer> And its a leaked video no doubt. So do we really have any right to judge a video we're not suposed to see? I think not. I like the phalnax the undead soldiers made around Helios.Yes thats Helios the Sun God and the thing on fire behind him is his Chariot. This is the demo they showed the press in Feb. Their shields look awesome. Also people saying that the Ogre> which is really a Cyclopes: Haven't u played the others?: is repetitive, DUHHH. U have to stab it in order to force it to move. The reason it doesn't try to knock u off is because its in too much pain to even try. I like the new QTE's the fire circle was awesome. I had a question, is the Blades of Athena that powerful? Or did the developers beef them up for the demo? Keep up the good work.
