We all miss Freddy Mercury, but he lives on in each and every drunken karaoke performance the world over. Now fans can trade in their public embarrassment and enjoy this activity in the comfort of their own homes, with the release of the new Queen track pack in Guitar Hero: World Tour, available for download across all platforms. The pack features the songs, "C-lebrity," "Fat Bottomed Girls," and "We are the Champions," and is priced at 440 on Xbox Live (each track will set you back 160 individually) and $5.49 on PSN. Fret not, Wii owners, for this DLC is also available to you, with each track setting you back 200 Wii Points.
The new songs don't stop there, as a new recording of the classic James Bond theme song is also available on the Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii, for 160, $1.99, or 200 Wii Points, respectively. Head past the break to sample each of these tracks.

Queen is one of the few bands on guitar hero that are sorely missing from rock band. I wish there was just one platform that had them all I hate swapping discs to guitar hero for just a few songs.
Love Queen, but this is a pretty weak lineup of Queen tracks. So much better stuff in their back catalog...Fat Bottomed Girls isn't bad but I couldn't care less about the other two. Hammer to Fall please. In Rock Band.
I absolutely love "Fat Bottomed Girls", and I can even see why "We Are the Champions" is included, but what's with the lame practice in GHWT downloadable packs where one lame song is included in every 3-pack? Well, except for Hendrix, nothing he ever did was lame... "C-lebrity" is just awful.
I can't see that in the entire awesome back-catalog of the Queen library (especially the early stuff) that they needed to include a Paul Rodgers/Queen song, other than to show that they can be a viable band after Freddy.
goddammit. as much as i prefer RB over GH, they need to step it up, in my opinion... GH's released some pretty awesome songs in the past couple weeks, and RB, who usually impress me with their releases, have been pretty... blah.
I have to disagree. Though Rock Band has been widening its scope, they've also added plenty of good mainstream stuff (Jimmy Eat World, The Offspring, R.E.M., PEARL JAM'S TEN!!!!!!!!!). This week's four (non-SpongeBob) songs are all good.
C-lebrity? That's not even really a Queen song. Paul Rodgers is no Freddie Mercury. The bass player didn't come back either. They've got the guy from Blue Oyster Cult on bass. At least Brian May (now a PhD in astrophysics) is still there. They were by favorite band of all time, but it's really not Queen anymore
But back to those songs. I personally don't really like We Are the Champions. Or We Will Rock You, either. They've been ruined by overuse, and worse, overuse in sporting venues. But Fat Bottomed Girls. Fantastic. One of their best. The very best of Queen: Hammer to Fall Under Pressure Seven Seas of Rhye and of course, Bohemian Rhapsody
Yeah boyeee Queen is and always will be my favorite band. Great songs well besides celebrity(which beginning riff sounds like The Metal from Tenacious D) and all of you also, great choices but those are all greatest hits tracks you guys are picking. You should listen to the band work on these songs which would be great for Rock band Gh Sucks!!! :
I Want It All, Tie Your Mother Down,You're My Best Friend(Dont know why thats not on here, hit commercial song), Innuendo, My Fairy King, Cool Cat, Bring Back That Leroy Brown, Lazying on A Saturday Afternoon, A Kind of Magic, Great King Rat, Play the Game, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, Don't Stop Me Now, The Show Must Go On. And they HAve stone cold crazy on GH: metallica and killer queen on the first one and soon to be released Gh:greatest hits. And of course all the songs you guys picked!! I mean theres pretty much more that are great but they would need to add a Piano peripheral.
Im pretty sure Rock Band will come along with an album soon enough, if they do not they are retarted. Yup yup!! Well at least we can enjoy what we have! :)
there are not many queen songs because, most of queen songs require piano, and rock band or GH cant support that
i love queen i'd would like to see more songs of them in this kind of games, i hate to see many poor and stupid bands in that game instead queen, deep purple, nirvana, the doors, van halen, ac/dc or led zeppelin, they are the true rock legends!!!
