PS2's are still £99.99 for silver slim, or £89.99 for the slim black.. (in UK)
A couple years back, my mate said Sony would be releasing an even smaller madel, about the size of 2 dvd cases (smaller than the Wii) for only £50..

I sold my old fat PS2 when I got my PS3, I have no reason to won one now. Ps3 games are so much better, i just can't bring myself to play old games.
If you want a PS2 and can find an old fat one, you can use a little something called HDloader, plus a standard PC HDD and a PS2 netwrok adaptor - bam you've got a PS2 that can store games on a HDD, and even play "ehem" Dowlnoaded games.
That combo, plus an online game rental service means a new game burned to the HDD every 3/4 days. Such a winner.
Why did i sell that bitch? I did get $150 ish for it though.
Oh yeah, HD loader stops the Disc drive running while playing, so it makes you PS2 almost invincible.
