Resident Evil 5 maintains UK sales chart lead
27
Capcom's Resident Evil 5 has been performing well in the UK (and all over the world). Ever since its release earlier this month, it's been selling like crazy. Well, the streak continues, as the game is once again top dog of the UK software world, beating out Wii Fit for top honors during the week ending March 28. With nothing much on the release calendar for the immediate future, we're willing to bet that another post like this will find its way onto our site next week.

Nothing really wrong with where its at, its been out awhile now! Plus this is the UK chart ps3 isn't really that strong there.
Also while we're talking about ps3 games on the list does anyone notice LBP still selling? I know its a good bit down but compared to Fable 2 came out around the same time and sold well at the start but has since dissapeared.

just play alot to get who do you trust, and for the other one you need to remove the device from the girls chest while sheva is holding her. not while shes on floor.
i only need the proffessional and vet one + the collect and upgrade all weapon ones

An infuriating pile of zombie dung - it's been a while since a game has instilled so much ire and hatred in my inner being. Those who rave about it obviously haven't played Chapter 6 yet... I've never been so happy to see a game end, and no, it wasn't because I was happy with the ending.

Yay~ At this rate all the other Layton games will be localised, though not soon enough!

I am going out on a limb here, and posting my opinion on RE5. I did decide to rent it, and I am going to beat it reluctantly. (while replaying KH2 [after re-beating KH]... I enjoy both much more than this game)
WHAT is the big deal with it? I guarantee it would not sell if it was not RE.
List of things that make me hate it:
1. Controls - just frustrating
2. Friendly AI - Only times I fail a mission is because that chick got raped.
3. Enemy AI - Probably just this bad because of controls, takes enemies 10-20seconds to finally swing that 'large' wrench at you.
4. Inventory - Why when I purchase armor does it get put in my armor's inventory? How is a little herb as big as a rocket launcher?
5. Lack of "puzzles" - RE4 had some, though easy, they were a break from shoot-shoot, then walk, shoot-shoot again.
6. Quick Time Events - ...won't they just die?
7. Difficulty - So easy that my dad could beat it on veteran
Positive:
1. Looks good? - KZ2 says "HI"
2. Coop - more of a negative for hardcore RE fans.
3. ?????
Overall a lackluster game that I cannot understand the hype that surrounds it.

God damn, this is a good game. Exhilarating action (I don't care if it's not RE's trademark, it is now), some interesting boss battles, and Sheva. Ohhh Sheva. Plus, I don't remember the last time it was as rewarding to kill a zombie. Or Majini. Or Autonomous Beings. Whatever you fanboys call em'.

The combo one is really easy, just play 2-1 and do it on the big guy that punches.
Make sure sheva doesnt have any weapons so she doesnt kill him and make sure you kill the guy that throws the bombs. Throw a flash grenade at his feet and do the combo.
So far im getting S rank on all the vet levels. im only about 3 away from finishing S on every level in normal and vet.

I've been playing RE 5 off and on for the last couple weeks and I gotta say I pine for the days of haunted mansions, wrecked police stations, and creepy public parks. I am sick of the marshland et al.

Yeah; I only finished it before KZ2 since I'm a huge RE fan, but otherwise, the game wasn't *that* good. It's fun, I don't disagree with that, but it certainly wasn't epic.

For "Who do you trust", you have press "O" (for the PS3, I don't know what the button is for the 360) whenever your partner does something good (like does a headshot), or does something for you (like heals you or gives you an item). Your character will then say something like "Good job", or "Thanks", or "I owe you one". Do that enough times and you'll get the achievement. You won't get it by just playing normally and not acknowledging your partner.
For those who are going through getting S rank, are you doing that to buy the last figurine? If so, you only have to get S rank across ONE difficulty, and not ALL difficulties. I got S on all levels on Amateur which then unlocked the last figurine.
Only trophy I'm missing now is finishing the game on Professional (as well as the extra DLC trophies, but those don't count towards the platinum).
