This Week in the Nintendo Channel: A new demo blooms

After last week's super-megatons, we half expected to find some more crazy surprises on the Nintendo Channel today. Unfortunately, nothing available qualifies as a crazy surprise, unless you missed the addition of the Rhythm Heaven demo to the lineup last week. It looks like a permanent fixture, like the Brain Age and Flash Focus demos!

We were pleasantly surprised to find that the one debut demo today is something in which we have genuine interest: Gardening Mama. The list of demos and new videos is available after the break.

SWEET! I've got to check out Rhythm Heaven, I never really keep up to date on what's on there.

Rhythm Heaven wasn't available in Canada, but apparently it is today. :P

I don't see why ds demos can't always be there. Sometimes I just need to go back to a demo to see if I like it at a later date. On xbla, sometimes I play a demo and don't care one day, but see something online that tells me I should take another look, and that demo is still there to do so. If anything, the demos could just go to the games page when its done on the new demos page.

I don't know if this video is old or not, but there's a weird ass, but interesting, remix of a Jamie Lidell song Figured Me Out, which apparently was remixed on the DSi

If I see those damn sperm deushes frowning at me again, I'm going to smash the DS I see them on. I know I have no rhythem, so if you're not going to stop me before the end of the song, then there's no need to let me know I did horribly until the end of the song.

good to hear rhythm heaven is still up, I need to see if it's my cup of tea, since I'm musically retarded, I tend to shy away from rhythm based games, but maybe this demo can change my mind :)
