Capcom still working on US release of Tatsunoko vs. Capcom

Starting to feel like your North American Wii will never get a chance to spin Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Cross Generation of Heroes? Capcom says, "keep hope alive!"

Capcom's Seth "S-Kill" Killian recently posted footage (found after the break) of a Ranking Battle final at Simi Valley's Denjin Arcade on the Unity blog, telling fans that the company is still looking for a way to bring the mixed-character fighter to North American shores. The post reaffirms comments made earlier this month by Capcom's bizdev and strategic planning VP, Christian Svensson, who said Capcom was "actively working" to get the game Stateside. However, nothing is set in stone and it still may never happen. So, who's starting the online petition?

I already have this game i've had it for a long time...that was a good match

I hope they find a way to bring it here. If they do, I hope they'll also take the time to add in online. I'd rebuy it either way, but I wouldn't even have to think about it twice if you could hop online with it. I can only wail on the CPU for so long, after all.

You know, if it's a licensing issue, why not just drop the anime characters. Capcom has TONS of characters from various games they can put in. They could also add in Marvel characters again or even SNK. I definitely want the game, and if cutting the anime characters out means I get it without having to import it, then sure. Go for it.

Because it wouldn't be Tatsunoko vs. Capcom without the Tatsunoko.

I wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo is trying to assist Capcom in bringing this game over. I know a lot of people have modded their Wiis in order to import and play this game, and there's something _else_ you can do with a modded Wii that Nintendo doesn't appreciate...

Am I the only one who isn't interested in Tatsunoko vs. Capcom?

I can understand why people would love it, and I have nothing against that. It's just that every single Wii owner I've seen wants it-- I, I really can't be the only one who doesn't, right?

I want the Wii version because of Viewtiful Joe. Otherwise I'd be at my local arcade more often. They imported a machine

It's usually cuz most people who don't go to these kind of websites don't know anything about it. :(

Tatsunoko vs. Capcom coming to the Wii in the US would be great but I really want a Nintendo vs. Capcom game personally.

It's because of games like these that I bought a Japanese Wii instead of a US version. I just bought this game while I was in Japan last week, and played it last night for the first time. It's really good!

I think the game looks pretty cool. I wouldn't mind playing as Casshern vs Megaman or something. Assuming they're in it.

It has Megaman from the Legends series, and Casshan (which is basically the anime character that Casshern, the movie, was based on). Oh, and both are hella fun to play. I love this game.

Is that a Horsea?

please add online mode since they are taking so long to do this

Oh, Capcom. You guys are so awesome for trying to bring this over.

Hopefully, all you guys will translate is the text & leave the Japanese voices intact, making me even happier when this gets brought over.

Would love to play it, the game looks beautiful.
