Keita Takahashi not involved with Katamari Damacy Tribute

Namco Bandai officially confirmed our suspicions, telling Eurogamer that Takahashi has not returned to the franchise for the new 1080p installment. However, the company said that the game is "in good hands," even if those hands aren't inside a Noby Noby Boy scarf.

Noby Noby Boy is one of the weirdest games I own. I know the dude said he wasn't on drugs or anything but after playing that, I swear he must have been on something.

It turns out that the scarf is handmade by his mom so I don't think you can find this in stores. Too bad, I would have definitely wanted one too.

I'm a little fed up with Takahashi. After his comments at GDC, I'm feeling like not only is he nuts, he's kind of a jerk, too. He made me feel like a chump for spending $5 on Noby Noby Boy. I've played it twice and I'll probably never touch it again thanks to his comments. They turned a fun, quirky little experiment of a game into a waste of money and time for me. You know what? The "game" is lame. It sucks. It's pointless and stupid, and I feel dumber for having played it and bought into your "genius," Takahashi. You're a hack.
Me & My Katamari was the best entry, BTW. But Beautiful Katamari was pretty bad. Tribute looks amazing so far and sounds robust. Let's thank our lucky stars that Takahashi is busy messing around with this other crap and leaving the next Katamari to people with, undoubtedly more talented designers.

Of course I've only played the original and loved it. I had been looking into buying We Love Katamari but now I'm going to hold off on it and just wait for this.

I've only played Noby Noby Boy of Takahashi's games, and I love it so. It's like a less crazy version of what happens when I forget to take my medication. Now I can enjoy flipping out in a much safer environment, without even having to flip out.
I tried to explain this game to my twin brother, but he was confused:
ME: In the game I got chopped in half with a lawnmower and had to eat my own arse!
MY BRO: RIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT. You really do find the weirdest games, you're crazy, you know that?
