I kinda like that idea. Only because I find in say Halo 3 or Gears of War 2, its hard to find a match with people who have maps outside of the map pack playlist.

2. Activision/IW inserts first trailer to Modern Warfare 2 into map pack
3. ?????
4. Profit.

I seriously wish IW would have done another map pack for Modern Warfare.

ha. Well, its not really "their" game. they basically had a map drawn for them with COD4:MW. All Treyarch had to do was leave everything the same, and make it look like WWII Germany instead of Afghanistan.

Yes, and it turned out great. It is a solid game, the campaign is fun, multiplayer has a very different feel because of the weapons and some different/new perks, and yes the setting.
"But they used the other games engine bawwwwwwww" just shush.

The only thing that Treyarch got from IW was the COD4 engine and blueprint for the MP but WaW's MP is very different but yet still very similar. I personally love BOTH! WaW is way more gory (which I love), it has new and different perks, they added vehicles without messing up the MPs balance at all, Co-op, Zombies!

How much do you want to bet that IW staff members actually like WaW and play it? I mean, I heard they're also going to have some sort of Zombie mode in MW2 and the gore lvl is going to be like WaW's. Treyarch proved all the haters wrong and put out a badass game that is #1 on XboxLIVE. I called it months before it came out. I had a huge argument on here with a Sony fanboy about how WaW would OWN Resistance 2 in sales and online and I was right. Haven't heard from that guy since ;) COD2 used to be my fav WW2 game ever but this one is just better in all areas. It just proves that WW2 isn't dead if you do it right.

AWESOME campaign, great voice acting/music/weapons/sound effects, great MP, Zombies (nuff said). Props to Treyarch and I hope they move on to a current setting and show us what they can do there as well.

I have been doing that everyday since the first day of the release of the MP. No luck whatsoever

if its on X360, you might wanna go into your content manager and delete any instance of the map pack from your HD before you do the re-download.

Already did the whole "delete corrupt/incomplete content" and "clear the cache" as well. It is just that I have had no luck with downloading this content. First and only problem I have with Xbox Live.

Does it say download failed? Try connecting directly to your modem if you're behind a router.
