Screw politics, naked women, half naked women, and rich black ladies! Hurray for video games! (I'm not so sure about the naked women and half naked women part though...does this comment make me sound like a virgin?)

I'm pretty sure if your Playboy or Maxim subscription gave you a 10% off condoms discount, you'd see them much higher up the chart.

Does this mean we get a share of the profits?

Congrats Joystiq. Not surprised that Engadget is the more profitable section of this weblog community that Joystiq is part of though.

Sorry... I didn't see the other picture.

But it's nice to see Joystiq in a very good rank.

Congratulations Joystiq, you guys are a very special part of my life.

It's nice to know that the entire Weblog, Inc. Family is doing well for itself. By my count, there are 11 Weblog blogs on the list (compared to 3 Gawker ones). 12 if you count TMZ, which is an AOL blog.

well these numbers don't say very much. they just say how many other blogs are linking to one specific blog (7,633 in the case of Joystiq).
But is this figure limited to USA or what does it mean. Well i think my standards are too high, but that's the reason why i read Joystiq.

Lover your blog, you give me my daily gamingnews I'm about to receive.

greeting from austria

I actually like Game Informer. Am I the only one? Hate to say it but I liked it better than EGM actually.

i like it but print is outdated. all the news in your typical issue can be found on joystiq WAY earlier.mostly only cover stories like the bioshock 2 or god of war III ones are exclusive.

Nothing better than sitting on the loo with a lovely gaming magazine. Or Time magazine.

Wow, that just surprised me, i thought kotaku was more readed than Joystiq! Now i can fell relaxed, knowing that my favorite blog bashed those Red and Strange Yellow guys!

Screw the console wars! Now we're entering the age of BLOG WARS!

And by that i proclame joystiq the Best-Blog-Ever because it has better graphics, more gameplay time, better games library and an online service that kicks-asse, all that using a "Mouse" Motion-Based peripheral! Wow!

"the performance of Game Informer either speaks to the power of its bundling with the GameStop Edge card, or the utter collapse of the rest of the magazine industry."

Honestly, I've always suspected the former, and some research by others bears it out: http://archive.gamespy.com/bizbuzz/may03/bizbuzz64/index.shtml
