I thought the tribal music of BSG was very unique, but I guess I just prefer the more traditional John Williams-style music for my space combat. Please check out my BSG Star Wars-style sound remix video for an example :P http://vimeo.com/818652

Well technically, it was "fracking" in the original series, but they wanted it to be a four letter word in the re-imagined series, so now it is "frakking".

It's actually "frakking," lol. And Bear's a heck of a composer. I'm looking forward to the soundtrack more than the game.

She was an angel! Well...an angel that was willing to frak her husband's brother while he slept in the same room.

The whole ending makes no sense, it was a giant cop-out by the writers. I was pretty let down.

While we're on the subject of grammar - I don't think 'ousted' is the word you want. It means 'to expel'.

It's commonly used the way they use it in the article.

Actually, it was ... a typo.

Not that I knew what "ousted" meant. I really should expand my ... that brain thing which has all my words in it. The word bucket.

@Trulz
If it is commonly used that way, it's commonly wrongly used. Gauis Baltar can be ousted from the Galactica and extradited to the Cylon baseship. But Adama can't oust him to create a Cylon detector.

Adama could coax him, perhaps...

But anyway, all this has happened before.

Since you can't say "Fuck" on T.V, "Frak" or "Frakking" is how they say "Fuck" in the Battlestar Galactica universe. Frakking understand? :)

I liked the tribal drums and flutes, mixed with futuristic music. It always had me pumped through out every episode. Can't wait to see what he comes up with for Dark Void.

At the end of Dark Void they should have character resolutions that make no sense and that retcon the rest of the series.

*****WARNING: NUCLEAR SPOILERS FOR BSG**************
Do NOT read this post if you don't want to know how Battlestar Galactica ends!!!

1. Even if Starbuck is an angel/ghost it doesn't explain how her body was on Old Earth (since Apollo watched her Viper explode), nor does it explain where her ghost Viper came from, nor does it explain why she saw a Raider lead her into the storm that blew up her Viper.
2. On Kobol, the crew saw the greek astrological constellations: Capricorn, Ares, Gemini, etc. They used these constellations to reach Old Earth. However, these are clearly constellations visible from New Earth, not Old Earth (and New Earth is "1 million light years" from anywhere they had previously been)
3. The idea that the Dream-Caprica 6 is just an angel was clearly made up halfway through the show and doesn't explain at all her sexual/evil actions towards Gaius for the first 2 seasons.
4. Why would the entire fleet, the majority of which no longer trusts the government or the military, agree to abandon all technology?
5. The idea that modern Earth is the descendants of the colonial fleet is laughable, and completely retcons all history of racial disparity, language development, and religion.
6. Wasn't it convenient that Racetrack's corpse just so happened to launch enough nukes to completely obliterate the Cylon race?
7. If Tigh was a Cylon the whole time and he was already so old, how would he have gotten into such a high ranking naval position without a social security number, or whatever security equivalent would be necessary on Caprica?

I'm not saying it was horrible but you have to admit 90% of the last 3 episodes were made up on a whim by the writers with 0 thought put into how it makes any sense. My wife read multiple articles online where the writers admit they had no clue what was going to happen after season 3 and just wing'ed it.

It is clear that they thought up a lot of the stuff as they went along. The 4 cylons revealed at the end of season 3 were clearly thought of at the time (see: your example about Tigh and also Tyrol's kid that they gave themself an out on by changing the father).

The thing that really bugged me though was that they insinuated that the entire cylon race was destroyed when the colony was sucked into the black hole. We saw in early episodes that the original 12 colonies were occupied by Cylons after they ran off the humans, so all those cylons are still alive. Also, what about baseships that are out and around? We know they're out patrolling a lot, and while they never actually say how many there are there have to be a LOT given what we do know. We know that it takes about 4 baseships and a good deal of time to blow up one Battlestar, because we've seen many times that those things can take a colossal beating. We are told at one point that the colonial fleet is 80-something battlestar's plus retired old battlestars, and we know that the cylon attack blew up all the ships at the same time, so there have to be around 300-400 basestars out there.

Sure, the colony was destroyed, but there should still be hundreds of thousands or even millions of cylons out there that now want to find the colonials more than ever (they have no resurrection and no Hera), and they just settle on a planet (New Earth) that doesn't hide them at all? Meh.

Besides, who the heck builds a colony to house the majority of your race that can be annhilated by one measely raptor that doesn't even have anyone piloting it?

I hadn't heard of Dark Void, but now I'm interested. McCreary did great work on BSG.

As a side note, I'd love to see his badass arrangement of "All Along the Watchtower" make a cameo in the game. Probably not going to happen, but, you know, a guy can dream.
