You took the words right out of my mouth. If I "buy" something I want to keep it for as long as I choose not when some company says times up. This is a major hurdle in my eyes.

So, what would happen if this service were to ever go down on the occasion like Xbox live or PSN? Would everyone be banned from playing video games?

What is the point of getting OnLive? More painful controls to get used to, more lag, not all the games on Xbox 360/PS3. Common???

You really are missing a lot of the point. Why don't you guys read these articles and interviews? There is nothing showing painful controls and you have not read the lag issues or the way the ino is sent obviously. Further, the PS3 and 360 are two game consoles amid a larger gaming world. Remember all those PC games that are made?

Of course, they make it sound good. I read all the articles, interviews and everything possible about OnLive. Its just another thing like the iPhone competitors that Verizon makes. They make headlines, "iPhone Killer" and everything in news and then they just go away. Like they never existed. OnLive will not work. Bandwidth caps are the main problem. If you have Comcast, 250 GB, they said thats 3.5 hours a day per month. Say you play half an hour more each day, just 4 hours. That's about one less week per month, and that will disappoint gamers A LOT. And on the other topic of OnLive: the games. Duke, yes, I remember all the PC games that are made. Do I play them? No. Does anyone but a few people play them? No.
