I don't care what you say, the cut scene of the Spartans kicking ass was hot shit. I miss prerendered cut scenes sometimes. Like that clip of wolverine coming out of the water.

The killzone commercial was also hot shit. Just saying.

@dirty yea it does look pretty damn good....Pre-render is good on the PSP, Wii, DS, PS2 etc....but I just think the PS3 & 360 should use pre-rendered content sparingly if possible. We all see just HOW good things can look with Killzone 2, and the Screens from uncharted 2. I can only IMAGINE what FF13 will look like when it comes out this year...I am SOOOO going to import it from Japan...lol

I hope Blizzard never stops making pre-rendered cinematics, they're consistently the best at it.

Sometimes it's more of a design decision than a matter of taste or technical limitations.

The Best!?!?! Have you not Seen MGS4, Heavy Rain, or FF13???

Gotta join the bandwagon and say Square is pretty on top of pre-rendered scenes. Of course, MG4 had some great stuff too.

Yes. The best.

The space marine trailer for StarCraft 2 and the teaser for Diablo 3 is superior to anything else I've seen from a game company. Including FFXII. Perhaps you prefer the style of Square's rendering, but Blizzard's is far more impressive.

Also, suggesting MGS4 was hilarious. Not that MGS4 doesn't look incredible, but as Bissy said, it's all done with their real-time assets.

You know, if they charged $0.49 for those Little Big Planet costumes instead of $1.99 I would certainly purchase them in a heartbeat, even if I don't play LBP as frequently as other games.

I mean, it more than likely costs MM/Sony less than $0.49 to make one costume so they make profit no matter what.

the costumes are directed at people who like the franchises they're based on. i wouldn't pay for the wipeout costumes because i'm not too big of a fan of the series (even though pulse is great fun). but that patapon costume? i would buy it in a heartbeat. even if it was like $5.

ROLFMAO!!!

They could market it in better ways than that. i.e. do like MS and bombard us with ads as soon as we sign in...obviously it works or MS wouldnt do it. Would it piss me off?? yea it would but it may yeild better results for PSN products...

nah. not at all. But I think if they advertised more on say gaming sites they would get more subscriptions than from just giving away so far 3 episodes for free. Well that and add better content

Yeah after I beat VC I was itching to play more missions. The DLC should be coming in a month or two I think.

I guess I could always go back to replay the missions on hard mode and/or A-Class every mission.

So a note to everyone, moderators can't see filtered words. They just see asterisks and ban accordingly. Do not type in asterisks even as a joking manner. I was just typing in random numbers of asterisks.

Mods in @Home, and they ban you from any online activity except the web browser. I just called them and made them check the logs. They saw that I was just typing in asterisks, appologized and lifted the ban.

If you ever do have to call Sony be sure to use 1-800-345-7669 and keep hitting 0 until you get to talk with a human.
