I'm down for some 2D action, as long as it's fun and not frustratingly hard. I'm looking at you Alien Hominid!

Alien Hominid has got to be the easiest of the major run and gun platformers. Certainly Metal Slug (before the generous slide maneuver) and especially Contra are a greater offense to a players lack of skill.

One of my very first video games I owned was Jet Set Willy. When I was 7, I was given the gaming equivalent of getting curb-stomped!

I just can't get into their art style...too uninspired.
With the exception of that colossal meat monster; he looks pretty cool.

I award you 1 million internets for the Heat Vision and Jack reference, the greatest show that never was. Now I've gotta go watch the pilot episode again.

Their website states they are a licensed PS3, Wii, and NDS developer (on top of 360). No reason to think it wouldn't ever come to PS3. If the Maw's development is of any indication, it will probably come to Steam and similar services for Windows.

Why does "The Maw" get so much coverage? Its just an arcade game.

Because The Maw was fantastic. Braid, Bionic Commando: Rearmed, and Castle Crashers were also fantastic. Crazy Mouse on the other hand, was a turd, which is why you haven't heard a thing about it until now.

What you should really be asking is "Why didn't 'RoboBlitz' get much coverage?"

I'll gladly take this over Explodemon! since The Maw was really good.
