I can't even say my usual "mooo" that I do on new guitar hero posts because I actually liked Metallica...hmph...

As did I, but it only left me wanting an entire game devoted to a bands I love. The overall game was much better then World Tour though.

Actually, the name was changed so it doesn't mix up with the Sony Greatest Hits label. The earlier press releases stated the Sony versions of the game were pending with a working title.

Hey, this is perfect for us Rock band folks, that have say... Rockband 2 Wii and can't play any of the old guitar hero games on our set up. Hopefully This game will be compatible and i can get in on some of the tracks Guitar hero holds that rockband doesn't.

I just don't want any of the songs from GH3 on this. I want to pick this up to be able to play all the other songs from the 3 versions that aren't available on the PS3.

Good, this removes the need to buy earlier versions if I ever pick up a PS2 (unless the setlist sucks more than tornado in a trailer park)

I like the new title better.. greatest hits sounds like the end of the series.

So everybody supporting this is a Wii or PS2 owner right because I see no reason why a PS3 or 360 owner who can get the real version of Rockband2 with its constant DLC would support all this GuitarHero milkage.

World Tour and Aerosmith have been the only two Guitar Hero games I have disliked. Taken for what they are, they are good games.

That being said, they need to decide on a game, create a platform like Harmonix has, and let us players put all the songs on the HDD and play from one disc.

Because I like how Guitar Hero plays better. They're more lenient with hammer-ons/pull-offs which allows them to have much more difficult note patterns. Plus, I find reading the circles much easier than the bars, and I want to use all five pads on the far superior GH drum kit. Yeah, I'm getting milked, but so is paying $2 per song and not getting any additional Achievements out of it (I may have just sounded like a tool with last sentence).

Honestly, since Neversoft took over GH, it's been better than Rock Band in every way...except track list...which is kind of a biggie. So, if they do this right this could be the last rhythm game I'll need to buy.

If this game has Freebird, you can call it whatever the hell you want to.

The setlist will ultimately determine whether I buy this, name change or not. They have A LOT to choose from.

Seeing a wish list like this makes me hate humanity. Why would anyone buy this game!? Yes, the songs are masters but ... seriously, am I missing something!? I suppose you get the vocal/drums capability... but, once again, seriously.

What really pisses me off is asking for songs that are already available in GH:WT.

When you do so, you have to realize that you are essentially wishing for the same version of the same song with the same functionality... but on a different disk. >X(

Because I want to be able to sell my copies of GHII and GH:WT and just have this one disc. But, if the track list isn't good enough and it doesn't let me play songs I already downloaded for WT, then I won't buy it. Honestly, knowing Activision, it probably won't, so then I probably won't buy it. Just b/c I have a wish list doesn't mean my $60 check is already in the mail. Based on the track list so far, there's no way I'm getting this game.
