Yay! Now I can pass over Toby, and still pick up something swell.

I found Shockwave quite fun, so I'll probably pick up the Black Tide song. Mostest-definitely-without-hesitation for The Shins.

It really tickles my funny bone that you refer to this string of releases (Journey, Pearl Jam, Bullet for My Valentine) crap, and then you ask where the crap is.

It's funny how people's taste in music works. One man's garbage is another man's Grammy.

Jane's Addiction ain't exactly the bee's knees either buddy. Just remember that your authoritative opinion doesn't make you an expert on good music, it just makes you sound like a close-minded ass.

"Suck" is such a strong word. You don't like them, that's cool, but they hardly suck.

...and what exactly has Jane's Addiction done that's worth a damn?

Mountain Song is already in the game. Add Been Caught Stealing and Jane Says and there you have the entire Jane's Addiction song library worth listening to.

Yes, I guess an entire band's catalogue can be based off just their singles.

"Nothing's Shocking" is one of the top 5 or 10 best albums of the 90s, and I can imagine the songs being some of the funnest released for a rhythm game once it comes out (crazy drums, crazy guitar, crazy bass, crazy vocals). I don't agree with what Todd said, but don't go slagging Jane's Addiction just to find ammo to use against him.

zero2dash: Your kidding right? Guessing your not over 30... ever heard of Lollapalooza? If it wasn't for Jane's Addiction there would never be one.

Sure, suck maybe not the right thing to say, more like not what I would want in RB2. Black Tide and Bullet for My Valentine are new metal which, to me, isn't that good at all.

31.

And Lollapalooza existed because of Perry Farrell, not Jane's Addiction.

zero2dash: Sure it existed because of Perry Ferrell... but if Perry Farrell wasn't in Jane's Addiction there would be no Lollapalooza... That has been the only band he has been in that has been successful. I doubt very much he would have the power to pull off getting sponsors and venues like he did if all he had behind him was Porno for Pyros.

Show me where Dave Navarro had anything to do with Lollapalooza. Planning, merchandise, advertising, etc. Or Eric Avery. Or Stephen Perkins.

Where were those guys in the Lollapalooza planning after Jane's Addiction broke up? 'Cause the only person I ever saw on MTV talking about Lollapalooza was Perry Farrell.

Jane's Addiction is a decent band, I'm not saying they're not. However they don't have nearly the success, sales or solid string of singles that a band like Pearl Jam has. (And that reply is to todd for the initial comment.)

Toby Keith is so American that he eats Arabs and shits them out dressed as Uncle Sam.

He is so American that his piss is red white and blue

He is so American that George Washington got out of his tomb just to say "that is one American mother fucker".

Toby Keith is so American that if he finds out your canadian he punches you instantly in the throat.

He is so american that he can turn tequila in the whiskey by putting his pinky in it

His blood is a mixture of apple pie and budweiser.

Good to see The Shins finally getting in on the action. "New Slang" is sort of the easy way out, and it probably won't be fun to play at all, but hopefully it will lead to some "Turn a Square" or "Pink Bullets" action!

You know what? I don't like any of these songs....and that's ok. Kudos to anyone who is a fan of this week's stuff and enjoy.

My wallet is in so desperate need of a break, between rock band dlc and buying up every trade copy of Fables, The Walking Dead, and Jack of Fables, I'm a poor penniless man.

I don't get why they always fucking do New Slang for The Shins, yes, it's a popular song, awesome, but there are so many other Shins songs that would be more fun to play.

Awesome, The Shins! New Slang, eh. I would love Caring Is Creepy, Sleeping Lessons or Australia. Maybe by the end of the year. We still got 37 weeks left. Hopefully we'll get some Minus The Bear aswell since they kinda need to beef up their indie selections.
